I bought this, not to put under my treadmill in the basement, but to use as an exercise mat. It works very well for yoga and other floor exercises. It's a nice sturdy weight and can roll up to be set aside.

I use the mat under my elliptical machine and it stays in place while moving and is long enough for my machine. I have size medium I believe.

The description on site is incorrect and the mat is not as thick as advertised. I even called the person to confirm and he confirmed but when the product arrived I was unpleasantly surprised. I guess this shop should be more attentive to accuracy of product description.

This is a rectangular rubber mat. It's too thin and doesn't grip the floor well enough for my treadmill which just bunches it up when I use the incline feature, but it is what it says it is and will probably provide basic floor protection for less rigorous applications.
I've had this mat for about a year and I love it -- it keeps my exercise machine in place. My machine is an oversized one and the mat has a little bit of a margin around all sides so my hardwood flooring is protected.One negative would be that the mat does show footmarks, however it is easily cleanedI'd buy it again!
