This is a retirement present for a Scottish friend, who loves whisky. It was purchased on the basis of our previous good experience of trying this excellent (and more unusual) whisky, and a nice alternative to the usual supermarket purchase.

Beautiful!Relatively new to the drinks, however I've been a big fan of the Yamazaki reserve, I decided to take the plunge and splash out for the 12 and it's become my favourite instantly!This whisky is sweet on the nose, spice (not burn) on the tongue and an incredibly addictive after taste. It's taking all of my willpower to stop myself going back for more and more.JPHA delivered the bottle with its display box (very appreciated) and there was ample padding ensuring the box is pristine. Very happy!

I tried this after trying a few whiskey and bourbon and this one came across I love how much you can take the smokey barrels from the whiskey, so far love it

Incredible taste and strong explosion like a bomb in your mouth but... smoothness in the end. That was my experience of the 2018 release edition. Not the best whisky in the planet for me but i just love it.

We get together and taste Scotch. Distilled in Scotland Scotch. So I bought the Yamazaki for fun. $125.00. From off the hard to get shelf. Thinking the Japanese make good cars so this must be good Single malt whisky. Nah! Just whiskey. All present [4] agreed. Very disappointing. But our Prius is still good.
Brilliant buy comes in a nice bottle and the taste is fantastic .
I knew the Yamazaki back in 2016 when I was travelling to Japan. I brought home a bottle, and felt in love with it. This whiskey is rare and becoming difficult to buy here in Australia as it is becoming very popular internationally. The price is a bit steep for a 700ml - but worth every drop. Totally recommend this.
