I bought two packs of these springs, and of the eight, one spring was so stiff it had no 'spring' at all. Snowys very quickly sent out another pack, and of those four springs, one had no spring at all, and another is very stiff. At least I now have eight usable springs. The 3* rating is a combination of 5* for Snowys excellent customer service, and 0* for Supa Peg. Not only are the springs poorly made, but they are not '100% Australian Made' at all - the label on each spring clearly says 'Made in China' (see photo). Supa Peg needs to lift their game. I'd pay more for these springs if they were made in Australia, and all of them actually worked as per Ben's video.

I wanted the Guy Rope Trace Springs as I wanted to make 2 double guy ropes for the corner of my awning. I found Snowys to be able to supply exactly what I wanted much cheaper than anywhere local in tas. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought these after hearing about them on the podcast. Used these springs with our Oztent RX5 and our Oztail Gazebo. Guy ropes fed through the springs easily and I was relieved that I didn’t need to reattach the ropes. Held firmly for a four day trip and gave me extra confidence in our set up even with wind and rain. Will buy more so that all our ropes will have a spring attached.

Very impressed. I tested these springs by setting up my tarp last weekend in the back yard. It was very windy in Sydney so the springs got a good work out - and yes, the tarp survived.
Quite impressed with these springs.Better quality than the locally available springs.I will give them a good test as soon as we can get back to "normal".
I have been using these springs for many years and never had any issues with them, They have held up well in all weather conditions. I recently purchased some more to make up some extra guy ropes as you can never have enough when camping.
Perfect for the gazebo ropes in heavy wind to stop the pegs pulling out
Seems like the springs are good quality at a reasonable price. I used them while camping in perfect weather. I haven’t tested the springs under adverse conditions but I can’t see them not doing the job.
I recently purchased an awning for my car, and those things aren't particularly durable looking. These springs helped absorb wind gusts nicely on the beach. I had to get some d shackles to attach the springs to my supa pegs though.
The item is of good quality, I was after the larger one but they were out of stock. I was surprised how well the smaller one works. It is doing the job well.
