I have played this game many times over the years, but its successor, Super smash bros. ultimate, is vastly superior. Not to say that the game is bad, just that there is better. There is however a somewhat wide variety of characters to play as, and modes to play in. This is still the only version with some of the modes in anyway.

So let's say a regular stock match of 6 lives(stocks). As you battle your Amiibo they learn from your actions and get stronger, leveling up in the process. Once they hit level 50 they will take what they have learned and use it to start devastating their opponents. Even after level 50 they will continue to learn and improve. Also if you take your amiibo to a friends house you can use them on their Wii U or New 3DS to battle their amiibo a and your friends where they learn faster and will bring back amazing gifts such as custom moves, trophies, and gold.With a vast ocean of content, game play modes, and nods to Nintendo history. This game will provide hundreds of hours of gameplay. This is one of the games I strongly feel that every Wii U owner should have in their library. While I like the update from the last Smash game, this one is missing bits from the last game that I loved! Exhibit A: There's no campaign mode! I loved the campaign of the last game. It made it easy to unlock characters and engage in a very well-told story without a single line of dialogue. This game is missing that and replaced it with a Smash version of Mario Party that can be fun, just not as exciting.It also dropped a few characters that I wanted back from the last game, Exhibit B: Snake. It's cool that there are DLC characters, but not anymore now that they're standard in Smash Ultimate. I'd love to give the new characters a try, but not for 5 pound each.Great to play with friends, this game should come standard with all consoles!

The product was in great condition. The manual was clean, no tears or stains. The disc had no scratches and runs very smoothly. 10/10 for DK oldies. Shipping was fine for where I live, not slow not fast. Playing the game have lots of nostalgia from 2014. Quality of service and ease on website was great.
As a kid, I loved to play this game on my brother's old Wii U, but when the GamePad died, there was no way to enjoy it anymore.When I received a Wii U on my 17th birthday, I knew I had to order Smash Bros, as I wanted to relive the memories of playing for fun, even despite being on my own.The copy I received works like a charm, and there's no problems I have encountered with the disc, so I rate this pretty highly. I want to thank CeX for allowing me to relive memories of 2014 or '15 again.
I have a quaint little Wii U collection, and expected another simple addition to it through my purchase of this game. Whenever I access the Classic smash option (the NORMAL mode) the game crashes and I'm given the error 150-2031 or suchlike. This also happens between matches in Classic mode, All-Star Mode, etc. You get the score. Unhappy, and very disappointed, basically. Box came scratched, as well.
This is a nice blend of modern features with the 3DS, and retro style that we all love. So much content, and a proper story this time. A new range of characters which is nice to see. I bought the game about a month ago from CeX, for a very good price compared to 40 pounds from Nintendo directly. One thing to note, make sure you have an internet connection, or an accessible local access point that is compatible with 3DS, as mine isnt, and I was not aware of the content that had to be downloaded from the eShop as of December in order to play the game, so I visited one down the road briefly. Would recommend this game, especially for the CeX price!
Bought this alongside my new Nintendo 3ds, shipping was fast and arrived in great condition. Game card looks to be in great condition, highly recommend to pick one of these up.
Just like most others with a Wii U, the fourth Super Smash Bros game was on my list to get. The learning curve to this game is quite steep for beginners, but after a few bouts against high-level AIs, or online (especially), you will eventually find your place in this game. For those who are familiar to previous titles, it is simply a matter of welcoming new characters to the party. The roster in this game is very impressive, as well as the sheer amount of offline features. However, I personally believe that this game is best played with at least one family member or friend to fully discover the fun and memorable experiences out of this fantastic game.

The stages are good as well, each with different interactive objects, NPC's that change the gameplay and hidden extras that you won't always see in every match.In all, it's nothing new from Nintendo, just repackaged to be played portably with the 3DS, but that isn't a bad thing. If you are happy with constantly playing match after match, spending hours trying to find the perfect combo in training mode, or mashing "all star" mode to collect every trophy, this game is for you.
