My cockatiel loved this toy and began playing with it straight away. However, within 5 minutes he had bitten through the plastic that everything was threaded onto. I had to restring the toy back together using string. Can you please use something more sturdy as I have purchased toys in the past where the same thing happened. Expensive for 5 minutes of happy cockatiel playtime!

My budgie" norman" has had hours of fun, well worth the money

I brought this for my non destructive placid Indian Ringneck, she loves shredding paper and playing with paper and cardboard, she's certainly not a chewer...I put this in the cage, immediately she was interested and went up to play with it, she headed to the top of the toy (its held together by a thin, knotted piece of soft green plastic tubing), she went to pull the end of the tie at the top, bit through the plastic, which it about 2-3mm thin and the whole thing fell to the bottom of the cage- All this within 2 mins of the toy being in the cage, she looked as disappointed as I did, to top it all off even the paper fell in poo, so the whole thing went in the bin. I regularly buy from NP, but never been so disappointed as this. Was a waste of money and could be a ... This is by far the best toy I have ever bought for my budgie. He has spent many hours playing with it, and plays with it every day. He has now all the paper pulled out, the ball almost completely chewed off, and the stars in pieces, so I am just about to purchase a new one to replace what is left of it.

Small shredding toy, my cockatiel loves it, also I can hide some millet inside it.
Small toy, ideal for a smaller space in the cage. My bird loves it and shakes it up. I just try stuff the inside with a bit more tassel, but thats to replace what my birdy ripped out.
Doesn't have as many colourful tassels on it as the picture and is no bigger than my palm not worth it but my birds are enjoying it
Our budgies love this toy. I'd originally considered giving it to our cockatiels, but it would not last long with them. The budgies love chewing on the paper and the munch ball attached. We're always hearing the bell tinkling as the toys shaken around.
This toy, I presumed, would be fantastic for my Kakariki....I had also purchased the Chew Years Eve toy. My initial thought was that they would both be of the same size, as they both were the same price....The star one I am reviewing is indeed a lovely little toy....but it was about as big as my little Budgerigar. I was not upset about the quality of the toy...but, in my opinion, it should have been bigger for the price of it....or indeed, less money to buy. As you can guess...my Kakariki would not play with the toy, as I don`t think she found it appealing!!
