Supex Slight Curved Awning Roof Rafter - White (25mm Curve)
The Supex Curved Powdercoated Aluminium Roof Rail - Slight Curve is a White powder coated aluminium bar that supports the roll out awnings on the side of your Van. This version with the slight curve suits new awnings with tight fabric or those with less extension. T he Acute Curve (Larger curve) version (sold separately) is available to suit most other applications with looser fabric and larger extensions. The rounded top surfaces of the rail protect your awning from wear when the rafter is in place, whilst the large round tightening knob ensures easy adjustment. The one end of the rail features a stainless steel and glass filled nylon moulded rail end which inserts into the provided bracket. The coating increases the strength of the moulding whilst reducing rattling in windy conditions. The other end features the standard tent pole spigot.

I was advised by Campsmart to use these slight curved rafters instead of the large curve rafters as my awning was brand new. They worked a treat in recent heavy rain with the awning angled slightly down at one end to also assist in water removal. The fairly high wind experienced before the rain hit was initially a bit of an issue with the awning ballooning up then banging down on the rafters even though the awning was as tight as it could get. This flapping noise was quickly fixed by fitting awning de-flappers at each end of the awning. I recommend the Supex rafters, together with the de-flappers to have a peaceful night's sleep and preservation of the awning.

I bought 2 of these and cannot believe the difference they've made in conjunction with 6 awning deflappers. Means I can leave the whole thing up overnight and not stress about the wind and damage. Great product.

I was a bit dubious at first about ordering these roof rafters on the internet. BUT, hey, I needed a set. So I bit the bullet. The best damn decision I have made recently. Absolutely pleased with the product, very pleased with the cost of them. I can highly recommend your business to any indecisive buyers.
