Surefeed Sealed Pet Bowl

Very nice quality and they fit perfectly! It did take awhile to get here, but I did order this a week prior to a holiday weekend, but it was worth the wait. Time to see these hold against our greedy boy!\n\nUpdate a week later:\nJust some background, our oldest cat is 17 with CKD and she needs food to help prevent gastritis. I got these feeders years ago to allow her to graze and this past year our boy found out how to force the door up to where he can stick his paws in. I am happy to report these have been holding up great!! Our greedy boy hasn't given up yet, but I love feeling confident, knowing that my girls can graze again! Thank you Pureposeful Prints for bringing peace back to our home!

Product is well made and fits well. Unfortunately this didn't solve my "theft" problem. My thief-cat is still able to bump the feeder's door while it's closing to keep it from going under the feeder's tabs and the anti-theft bar, allowing him to paw out food later. If you have a similar issue, this might not be the solution for you.

Works great =) I bought it in prevention because after buying the surefeed rear covers and the front covers from purrrposful prints, I was afraid my gluttonous cat would next try to pry them open as I’ve seen her attempt it here and there in the past. But I could see how it would work because I’m pretty sure i wouldn’t be able to pry it open myself with this gadget on. It fits very snug so no chance of it coming lose either. Great design!

Shipping to US took a while unfortunately, but absolutely would buy from seller again as the items came in exactly as hoped and work perfectly! Using the slow feed bowl was just the right thing to slow my speed eater and the guard has prevented breaking into the slower eaters bowl! Works like a charm and perfect fitting to the feed system

Lovely, bright, and smooth print job. Took us a few minutes to figure out how the pieces fit in the deck, but a quick look back at the etsy photo and it snapped right into place. Looking forward to our chunky fast-pawed boy finally being locked out of everyone else's dish.

This is a really great product if you have the Surefeed bowls! Design and concept get 5 stars from me. BUT! If one of your cats is a ridiculously food motivated chonk, this guard will only decrease how many bowls he steals from other cats in your household. Food theft has seen a significant decrease, but was only completely stopped for about a week until he figured out a work around to go back to his thieving ways.

Brilliant!

Fantastic product!!! I just love this item. I originally bought a cheap automatic pet feeder with sensor but it was completely useless. I then bought this with scepticism but it's brilliant. My cat has no fear of it as it's really quiet and moves slowly but is so efficient. It keeps the food fresh and more importantly for me, fly free. I didn't need to use the training mode either, just used it straight away, as soon as I put the the batteries in and turned it on I knew it would be absolutely fine and it was. I'm totally chuffed with it. I can recommend it 100%.

Good and neat

The concept of this bowl is excellent and it's excution good. Instructions are clear and packaging neat. It is only plastic so not brilliant value for money. The quality is better than most. (Rather binary answer choices are not helpful in providing a proper review.) My cat took to it easily. An improvement would be space for an ice pack underneath the dish. An option for a second dish at a reduced price purchased at the same time would provide additional value.

Great product

Great for keeping the flies off the food during hot weather. Use them under my verandah and inside. Only took my pets a few days to get used to lid opening. I now have 5 feeders and have found the batteries last a long time. The only thing I would like added to this product is somewhere to put ice or a cold pack to keep food cool.

Pricey but work correctly

Nice to have a dishwasher safe alternative to the chip feeders plastic versions which are not (dishwasher safe). One of my cats is prone to feline acne on his chin so plastic bowls are not a good idea for him. Price is high but they fit correctly and seal to the feeders lid which plain SS bowls i found do not. Quality is fine. Metal is thin but that doesn't seem to be a problem. I haven't dented one yet in normal use. Would be nice if there was a divided version like in the plastic bowls for wet and dry. I like them so far and if the money doesn't put you off are a good add on for the chip feeder.
