I got this to keep my kitten in whilst my older cats went out. It might as well be a hole in the wall at this point. It's a great product, but the locking mechanism isn't good enough.My kitten can open it back wards to get out by pressing down on the inside prong holding it closed and pulling backwards or beating until it moves backwards.I've also on a number of occasions, when it's been set to be fully locked, have found the flap pulled backwards over the locking mechanism. Haven't seen the function yet but assume it's ok. Will read the chip in the neck...The mounting was a bit tricky which should be solved in a better way. The fit against the cover frame on the outside was also not perfect.

Everyone is right, it's very small, but our cats are young so they were managing, awkwardly, to get through the door. The issue I have is that, for no reason, it's stopped working. Factory reset, changed batteries, reprogrammed, no joy. Just a $160 unsecured cat flap at this stage. Zero help or response from manufacturer from either calls or emails. Quite disappointing.
