Absolute crap. Tips burned off two bits when drilling just the first two holes, and one bit snapped! Returned and refunded. Guy at front counter advised Sutton Tools is now a Bunnings brand, and not at all a quality brand.

Absolute crap. Tips burned off two bits when drilling just the first two holes, and one bit snapped! Returned and refunded. Guy at front counter advised Sutton Tools is now a Bunnings brand, and not at all a quality brand.
Easy drilling with these drills.They are worth the buy because drilling through masonry with them was a breeze.
I think the labelling on the product and the drill sizes included is a bit of a mess. Standard plastic wall plugs are: red= 6mm, green= 7mm and blue= 8mm. Most manufacturers like Ramset recommend that is the hole size to drill. I've always found that works perfectly when you use a decent gauge screw. However I can understand where people might want to drill a .5mm smaller hole so the wall plug fits in more snuggly. That's the path Sutton have partially taken with red= 5.5mm, green= 6.5mm but blue= 8mm? I think the biggest deal breaker here is not including a 6mm drill bit. It's arguably the most used masonry bit size around the home. Needed one size but better value buying this set. Did the job fine and I ended up using another size so definitely worked out well. Sutton’s always been a good brand to me.
Sutton tools are well known in Australia. I highly recommend these. I do own other Sutton drill bits for general drilling. These drill bits are for drilling concrete & brick. These I bought are to replace a set I misplaced recently, which were Sutton.
Basically the only masonry bits you will ever need. Hot tip, leave them in the packet so you know the corresponding wall plug. I wish they colour coded the bits
When it comes to masonry brick concrete i only use Sutton my old man used Sutton drill bits excellent brand that is still performing
Drill bit tip broke off into brick when drilling and then unable to use the hole that had been carefully measured . Have to now buy another one and will be a better brand.
These lasted about 5 seconds before going blunt.Wouldn't buy again..
