Great sunscreen for daily wear but I believe it is not water resistant therefore may not be suitable for very hot weather. The filters are great (Homosolate, Uvinul A Plus, Uvinul T150, Octinoxate, and Tinosorb S) therefore will provide great UVA and UVB protection. It is creamy but not greasy. I do note that the amount dispensed is thicker that my other sunscreens, so as opposed to using the "two fingers" rule for my face I only need to use one. The fragrance is sweet/floral, but not offensive though I find that it does linger for 3-4 hours. It doesn't leave a white cast, nor pills on my face but I note slight pilling when applied on my neck. All in all I will continue using this for my face but will use other sunscreens for my neck (and body).

I've oily acne prone skin and this is a lovely , thick moisturiser. However it is not matte.... but I don't mind, leaves a nice glow. Sits very well under make up too, no white cast and its non comedogenic!

This is such a great sunscreen.First off, it doesn't include Avobenzone which can irritate some people's skin, it irritates mine, so this is already great. It goes on quite easy and there's no piling as you get with some sunscreens. But once you've applied it, you can hardly feel it on your skin. I'm definitely going to repurchase this in the future :)

I recently purchased this item as I found that my skin was breaking out with blemishes during lockdown and thought it might be able to help, which it did at the time as it contains Gluconolactone and Niacinamide 4% which helps with the redness and smooth the bumps. However, I found that this can leave a white cast if not rubbed in thoroughly so may not be suitable for all skin types. I’ve since found since the end of lockdown that this does not perform well under makeup. I find that it pills and leaves patches. So it best suited to no makeup days and need the protection.
It has taken me so many years to find an SPF cream that does not make my skin look like and oil slick and also does not give me spots after use. I have been using this sun cream for a couple of weeks now. I had a couple of spots come out after the first 2-3 times of use but my skin has now adjusted and looks so much better than it did before. My pores are smaller and my skin is clearer so I am very happy!
I’ve always suffered with greasy skin and as a teen, spots as well (never acne). Even though I’m now in my 50’s and spots are a thing of the past my skin is still oily. So I’ve always been reluctant to use suncream on my face, especially under foundation. Recently read a review of this cream in a newspaper and since I now live abroad in hot sunshine for 6 months of the year, thought it was worth giving a try. So far, so good. I’ve only awarded it 4* as it’s only been tested under the British sunshine and I’ve only just started using it. But it’s definitely a Matt finish and my foundation sits well on top. Just recommended it to my daughter, so it’ll be interesting to say what she thinks.
I have oily, acne prone skin. I've tried several suncare products and every time my skin always get greasy & I always break out, even with the light essence types. This is a life changer! I've been using it for 2 months now (and over the hottest summer months), and it keeps my skin matte. Love that it has niacinamide high up in the ingredient list too. The initial feel is that it's dry & hard to spread so some may be turned off by this - I suggest slightly rubbing it on your fingertips/ hand to melt it & apply to the face.
This is by far the best spf moisturiser and make up base for oily skin I have ever used! Please never stop making this! If you are oily (like me) and only need a light moisturiser, and don’t want to have to layer up products on your skin, then this is an absolute winner! Offers the high sun protection I need (due to strong acne treatments I use at night), and it also acts as a fantastic makeup primer. My pores don’t get oily and larger looking throughout the day and my skin feels smooth and comfortable. And it’s affordable! I just love it.

I like this sunscreen as my makeup base. Yes, it is a bit drying so I only use a tiny bit after thoroughly moisturizing my skin with a rich cream. This by itself will not function as a moisturizer and I have to remember that. It makes me look really good somehow.
