I have been using Swann 2KI indoor Wi-Fi security camera for a few weeks now and the video is clear and loud. It has two way sound to hear and speak if you need to. The video is clear for me to see when it is bright and at night with the night mode. I use the app, simple setup, I can adjust the motion detection in the room I have it in as well as it can detect a person in the room even if they not moving. I like that I can change the sensitivity as sometimes on the app it could get annoying getting alerts every time there is a person moving around or going in and out of a room. But I do like this camera.

This camera is a solid addition to our Swann security arsenal. I wanted a standing camera that hid in my plant wall, but it was a pleasant surprise to learn that the camera could also mount to a wall and hold a position at any angle with a ball and joint socket at the base of its mount. Setup is a breeze and takes no more than 5 minutes from unboxing, but it does come with 24/7 tech and setup support if one should need it. Having the Micro SD Card slot is one of my favorite features, as it removes the need for a monthly subscription for cloud storage. Swann does offer a subscription service, but the Micro SD Card works better for my setup. I didn’t need any tech support but it looks very good.The range and clarity are very good in day light. Visibility at night is also good with IR functionYou can use micro SD card to record local on the device.I really like the warning stickers that come with it. I make the camera visible too. I want deterrence not to record some one breaking in. I want to incent bad guys to go to unprotected homes.Besides we travel a lot and calling police remotely at 3am is not something I want to do.

This was pretty easy to set up. Extremely easy to use. There's 3 different mode off. Home away and night. I can check back on the recordings by dates. I can view it live. So many different options on this app of things I can do set a schedule. All the honest many Options I probably won't use. But it's nice that it's there in case I choose to. For now I'm using the camera indoor to check on the dogs when I'm not home. So far I've used the live option to check on them. And the playback option to see who knocked over the water. Pretty cool camera and I love that I have it at my fingertips on my phone.

Setting up this camera took about 15 minutes from unboxing to testing. Since I had a metal plate on the wall in the room where I'm using the camera, I didn't need to install anything. It stuck to the wall, and I plugged it in. Pairing it on the Swann app was also a very simple process since I already have other Swann devices and the Swann app installed on my phone. Tip: According to the instructions, you'll need a microSSD card to save video recordings and perform firmware updates. I was able to install/update the software during setup without one, so I'm not sure about the firmware part.
The Swann 2KI security camera is a good little camera. I have mine set up in my bedroom so I can make sure my dogs are not getting into mischief. The software that you have to down load to your smart phone is Apple IOS and Android compatible. There is many options you can set up for the camera in the software. The video quality is ok. But you need a you need a micro sd card the record video. It comes with a power supply and a magnetic mounting plate so you can mount on the wall. I recommend this camera and would buy other products from this company.
Got this indoor camera basically to keep an eye on our house (kids) while away from home. Works slick - at any point can get a view of what is happening in our kitchen - sound included. Can also talk through it in case "guidance" is needed. Both the equipment and the app are super easy to use! It is easy to forget it is there and part of me does struggle with the idea of that people are being taped anytime they enter that space but all have been warned. It is serving its purpose. I may invest in another one for a different area that could use some monitoring.

I have it set up to monitor my apartment because there is an access point between my unit and another that needs to be kept unlocked to maintain compliance with fire code. As far as I know, my neighbors have never ventured down into my space, but I found myself locking valuables in my bedroom when I was gone and that got old fast. With this small camera, I can have it trained to the shared staircase and will be alerted if anyone ever entered my unit. I like that I don't have to pay for ongoing monitoring, that "installation" was simple (I just have it on an end table) but that I also COULD use the enclosed mounting plate to position it differently, if needed. The camera was very easy to setup in the app. Having the QR code to assist with pairing made things much smoother than typing it in manually. There's also the option to add an SD card for local storage, which is a bonus if you aren't interested in (or a fan of) cloud storage. The app has all the features you'd expect these days such as Motion Detection Zones and Motion Sensitivity Tweaking. The night vision was decent and mounting hardware came included, so this wouldn't be a bad option for overnight security or monitoring a child's bedroom.Camera quality is pretty good, but it would benefit from a larger sensor to capture more details. Nothing really sets it apart from the competition. However, it's a solid option for those who prioritize local storage.
