They walked me thru the setup process and helped with proper configuration. After phone call all is well. Camera works excellent, great quality. Works well at night, I would highly recommend

Online order was prompt. Contents of box was well packaged. Installation was as easy as a cabled system could be, some handyman skills and some tooling like a drill, hammer, screwdrivers are a must. Online instructional videos were helpful. Software is easy to setup and use. Everything worked as advertised.

Pros: Daytime images extremely good.Night images very good, but only if the NVR has the latest software included. I have two NVR-8580 recorders. The first had the latest software on arrival. The second had 2018 software. The 'defog' feature is not present on the 2018 software and night images poor. After upgrade installed 'defog' images very good.Cons: Microphone picks up excessive background noise. When night images are perfect the faces of anyone near to the camera are burnt out (just a white featureless blob). I selected manual shutter speed, set a higher shutter speed, and reselected 'auto'. That improves close-up of faces a lot, but it is trial and error. The overall night image will be darker.
I purchased 2 NVR systems using the 4k cameras about two years ago. Everything worked well until the warranty ran out. Once that happened cameras started to fault internally. Swann does NOT provide any repair of any kind. They will ONLY replace parts of the system you purchased IF under warranty. Personally I'm tired of replacing cameras that smell burnt and fail because the eternet cables they installed on their cameras are cheap and inferior (always same fault). I've replaced 8 NHD-885MSB now. I spent roughly $1600 for two systems and now about $1000 in camera replacements. Be prepared to invest LOTS of extra money to keep your system up and running. Bought this to add to my existing system. Camera quality and day time imagery is very good, as you would expect from a 4K camera. However the night vision only has good vision of approx 10mx10m, compared to that of the NHD-885MSFB., it range is approx 30mx30m or more.The MSFB camera has fantastic night vision, plus other features and a price to go with it. My advise, buy MSFB for large area coverage and this MSB camera for smaller areas. image of Table is 5mx6m bbq area with NHD-8i5MSB camera, the back yard image is with the NHD-885MSFB, back shed in foreground is approx 30m or more away.
Very good camera. Used it as an add on to the NVR system previously purchased. It compliments the 5 MP cameras very well. The 8 mp camera helps to get a little more clarity on vehicles outside, and makes reading license plates very easy. The 5mp is also great, but the extra 3 mp helps in some cases.

I had some difficulty in trying to install a PTZ camera of a different brand and completely failed, probably my fault as I am not really savvy about this stuff and the camera was probably ok and I returned it. After I talked to T/S about my problems they sen me a chart of compatible cameras and I will try there PTZ camera. and I am sure that it will work the same as the 4K cameras that agree now on the system. only neg comment i have is that Swan should package the 60ft of wire in a coil not the rectagle? lay compressed bundle as wire is a mess to uncoil and has bad bends on it due to the way its coiled up an network wire should not be bend that bad if at all possibleotherwise so far the system i installed for users was 6 cam system and works great lots of variables in settings to learn picture quality is great, so far in for 3 weeks 2 outdoor cams 2 cams in a car wash bay and 2 inside building
