Out of the 32 chimes with this doorbell only 2 are useable. Only 2 that actually sound like a doorbell. Everything else is a terrible tone worse than original Nokia ringtones… I wish I could’ve listened to available chimes before purchasing as I would’ve gone with a different doorbell.

I wish I had read other reviews before I bought this and wasted my money. Goes off randomly when there is no one at the door, at full volume, and a tone it's not even set on. This has happened at least 4 times since I bought it 2 months ago, mostly in the middle of the night, which is very unnerving. Don't waste your money on this rubbish.

This Product Should Be Withdrawn From Sale. Goes Off At Random Times, Often The Middle Of The Night. Always Changes Tune To Auld Lang Syme. Total Waste Of Money. I have Now Fitted A Wired Friedland Door Chime With Excellent Results.

Absolute 100% garbage! I'm just about to take the second one back in less than 3 weeks. I bought it for my mum trying to do her a favour and it has only caused her problems. The first one lasted less then a week before it started going off randomly at all hours and also changing the selected tune by it's self. Returned it and got a replacement which has also just started changing the selected tune by it's self. I see I'm not the first person to have these issues. It's obviously a very common fault that they are aware of and just don't want to address. Maybe if people stop buying them they might have to pull their finger out.
Just terrible. After removing the back to get to the battery and reattaching it now just falls off because the tiny plastic tabs don't click back into place. I'm unsure if it is bad design or something broke while following the instructions that say to insert a flat screwdriver and carefully remove the cover. The word "carefully" suggests the manufacturer already knows there are issues here due to tiny pieces of plastic tendency to break! I'll take it back because I only just bought it but what a waste of time. Avoid.
Don’t waste your money. As previous reviewers have noted, this thing randomly goes off. Changing ringtones to Auld Lang Syne too. Weird. Also, even if it does work it has a horrendous selection of ringtones.
We've had this for a few months now. It was easy to set up and it's plenty loud enough BUT it constantly resets its ringtone to Auld Lang Syne and, more annoyingly, has randomly rung in the middle of the night twice now and once during the day with no one anywhere near it and no neighbours it could be picking up on. Swann technical Dept had no idea why and promised to investigate but no info yet. At least we know when there is someone at the door - and sometimes when there's not!
Great looking unit and does what it says but my low rating is due to the fact they must have taken this thing to the nearest retirement home and asked what chimes should be included! There is seriously not one good actual "doorbell" chime. It's a mix of church bells and the oddest collection of 70's digital synthesized music. If you didn't have to destroy the packaging to open it (good plot by them) I would be returning the item. As it is it will go in the bin and I'll cut my losses. Come on guys seriously put some proper chimes in there!
This is a really good unit; so far has been flawless. Easy set up and most importantly it just works without breaking the bank. Adjustable sound and can be heard in the second floor. Heads up; it’s really only got one ring tone; which is default.. the rest.. let’s just say it’s for more colourful occasions…
I brought the first of two of these doorbells and clearly I didn’t learn from my original mistake. The first one went off randomly in the middle of the night and after finally working out it was the doorbell I went back to Bunnings to purchase a second unit. The second unit didn’t take long to disappoint as it randomly went off less than 4 hours it was plugged in.
