I have had a great experience with these bino’s so far. I’m not sure why Javan has had such a difficult problem. The furthest range I have been able to get is 1988 yards. It is a lot shorter than what I was expecting for such an expensive optik, but then again I personally don’t need a rangefinder that goes over 2000 yards anyway. I have had a great experience with these in the snow and temperatures down to -5 deg and harsh conditions. The only thing I don’t like about these bino’s is you have to have one of the Swarovski’s rifle scopes in order to pair with the bino’s. I find that extremely annoying, but it’s a great piece of gear I’m glad I have in my kit. Not sure if I would take these over the NL Pure’s though.

Outstanding Binoculars!! I did a ton of research on all the different brands of binoculars. I noticed that 80% of the hunting guides use Swarovski optics. These guys use optics daily and they make a living by being able to spot animals for their clients. They are not paid by some sponsor to us some other lesser XYZ brand and claim they are the best. If you currently own a $500 pair of binoculars, these binoculars will blow you away with the clarity and sharpness of the image when compared to what you currently own. These are a lifetime investment that sucks to pay for up front, but will be something you enjoy using for many many years to come. Make the investment, it is completely worth it once you look thru them for the first time.

Considering what these cost, it embarrassing to have a pair Vortex significantly out perform these.4. The app sucks, not intuitive. Unable to use rangefinder while connected to Bluetooth. The ballistics are not all that accurate as it doesn't take into account Spin Drift or any wind impact/angle of wind, so still need to use an external app. Also, still need to carry Kestrel and wind meter.5. When using the internal ballistics to get the MOA readout, cannot see what the angle compensated range is, have to choose one or the otherBottom line is I will keep them for the ability to range down to 10yds for archery, if it wasn't for that the GEN1 as just fine. Yes field of view is larger, but not that significant. Can't speak to how they compare to the Zeiss or Leica with similar features. Not impressed for a piece of gear I was pretty excited about

A+ on all accounts with placing the order, very professional and exceptional knowledge about the product line. Tori & Ryan I thank You for getting these to me to meet my departure deadline, Thank You !These new EL-O-Range field glasses are what they claim, expensive yes, but the quality and performance deliver. Every time I raise these glasses the cost never re-enters my mind, just amazement on the razor sharp clarity and ranging capabilities. They feel and weigh less than I expected, they also fit in my Bad Lands "BINO XR" Binocular chest case perfectly. I added the optional "winged eye cups" to cut down on side light when viewing and I would strongly recommend doing so, this made for a nice enhancement. Another accessory that was a good investment was the optional Tri-Pod mount, to secure these EL-O-Range glasses to my Monfroto tri-pod, super quick attachment, rock solid and of course Swarovski quality. This allows me to leave my spotting scope behind and just mount the binoculars, I give up a little viewing power but to me less is more on hunts when I have a lot of ground to cover. The color is "loud" and this to me is a great feature, these cost way too much to mistakenly leave hanging in a tree stand, dropped into a cattail marsh, left on the Tundra or possibly left on the ground below a dropped tailgate after a day afield while putting away gear in darkness. The chance of losing them are certainly reduced with the Hunter Orange coloration. In summary: Money well spent on a lifetime of viewing pleasure, adventure and a freezer full of wild game.

Swarovski 10x42 EL Laser Range Binoculars
6 November 2024

The Swarovski 10x42 EL Range TA Laser binoculars are great! Just what I was looking for in my hunting toolbox! They are slightly heavier than the 10x30, however manageable. Picture quality are better and easy to use! Highly recommend these binoculars.

You want the best? These are the finest optics
4 May 2022

I have used these bino’s for years in Alaska, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and Hawaii hunts and they have performed exemplary in all conditions! The clarity and color are second to none. They have been tested in severe cold and hot and humid climates and have never fogged. The range finder function has also performed flawlessly and the only caveat would be they start at 33 yards which causes some concern for bow hunting. I find if an animal is within that range even I can fling an arrow with some accuracy. These are on the upper end for price but I would never give them up for any other Bino. I have a pair of Zeiss 10X42 and they are great as well but still not the clarity of the 10X42EL’s. That’s the sign of great/exceptional optics! they are the top of price but are well worth saving and buying the best for the rest of your hunting days.

[Rewarded Review] Reduced Minimum Focus Distance
7 September 2023

I received these not knowing that Swarovski has reduced the minimum focusing distance after the 2020 design refresh when the NL pures came out. I'm no longer able to view butterflies, dragonflies, etc. within the typical range of options from other brands. At a reduced price, these are still packed with value, I also don't mind that they included a nice carry bag rather than the case. However, the rolling ball effect from the field flatteners may force me to consider other options.
