Let’s remember that these are £80 leggings - doesn’t that mean they should be pretty good? In my experience they just aren’t that great and don’t outperform $20 leggings from Old Navy. However, during the workout the sweat patches at the top of my legs and crotch area are very visible which wasn’t really what I expected from quality leggings on first wearing. Made more obvious by the plain black option I’d chosen.Yes, it dries quickly after finishing exercising but that’s not really the point, I’m heading home then to take them off!Can accept that this eventually happens when leggings have been washed and worn so many times, but not from the start.Customer services were really responsive and said this shouldn’t happen and sent a replacement however exactly the same occurred. It was coming time to start replacing my lululemon leggings that i had loved, and honestly, the CEO of lululemon is awful so I was excited to find an alternative company that seemed great and their products had great reviews. I got these at the end of March, and by the beginning of august, all 3 of the leggings I got (in black), had pilled in areas that don’t experience a lot of abrasions (ie the upper front thigh), and the material develops holes so easily. I had washed them in garment bags, on gentle cycle, and hang dried so that wasn’t the cause. The fit like they should, and I honestly only used them for day to day wear, a few hikes, and a few workouts/runs. Recently ordered a pair of power leggings in the ditsy star print. I was so disappointed in the quality and will be returning them. They were see-through when I was just standing up, so I wouldn't want to even attempt a squat in them. I have bought several pairs over the last few years and never had any problems before. There is also now a scratchy label at the back which makes them feel a lot cheaper. I have reached out to customer service about a few other issues with my last order and have only been told that nothing has changed but that the issue will be raised with manufacturing. This is my second attempt at a review as apparently my first review did not meet guidelines
This was my first pair of Sweaty Betty leggings from any range. I was amazed at how well they pull you in and give you a flattering figure. Seem very well made. The only issue is they are slightly too low so I feel I have to hike them up. They are so compressed that if they catch me around the middle in the wrong spot it can feel too tight so I haven’t been able to wear them for Pilates. They feel ok for my other exercise classes however. I am 5’4’’ and approx 75kg so went for large. Maybe XL and high waisted would have been better? They really are fab in every other regard! I think seeing my bum and tummy look smaller was worth the purchase alone!
I am gutted that the quality of the leggings were shocking currently waiting on my second replacement (this time gone for a different style) 1st pair I received with a hole in the pocket and the 2nd wore twice and was coming apart at the seams. Totally unacceptable for the price of the leggings. Just a shame the colour is amazing and the fit was superb and really comfortable before they fell apart at the seams. I can not fault the customer service each time I let them know of the issue they tried to resolve straight away with a replacement and were very helpful. Hopefully the replacement they sent in a different style will redeem my faith in SB but as it stands for the price tag I wouldn’t buy again unless my replacement lives up to the hype.

When running, they constantly fall down at the hips, resulting in me awkwardly having to hitch then up every 30 seconds. The crotch goes baggy and they're extremely uncomfortable and irritating to wear. It's a huge disappointment bearing in mind the price of these are not cheap at all. I have several pairs of power leggings. I love the ones I have, they have been consistently good. This pair however are not. I purchased the black and they are not as good quality as my previous ones. The material is different and they do not feel comfortable when l am working out. They also fit differently. The previous style was flattering, this one not so much. They are an expensive purchase and I do not feel they represent good value for money. This is the second pair of leggings I have bought recently from SB and been disappointed with the quality. I will be looking at other competitors for further legging purchases. Sorry SB, but you need to up your game.
I bought these to replace worn out leggings of another brand and they seem very good quality. The fabric feels more dense and firmer than the all day leggings, which I like for yoga. 7/8 are just the right length and they stay up. I’ve used them for tough strength / weights classes in the gym, good that they are pretty squat proof. Only odd finding is that they seem a bit sweaty at the back of the knees. Plain black ones are great, the navy is also very flattering.
