Tabasco Sriracha Sauce 256ml

I don't know how any AUTHENTIC Sriracha Sauce is supposed to taste, but I do genuinely like how this product has enhanced many of the meals [oh, yes, BREAKFASTS, lunches, and dinners I've "presented" to my Family, Friends, and other Community Members (e.g., at School and Church functions, Springtime and Summertime Potlucks, etc.] over the years. At the same time, I agree with other posters re: the pricing of this product (same price for approx. 1/2 as much? what's THAT about???; for ME, it's justification for my 3 Star review). But I will (in all likelihood) continue to purchase it -- at least in "the short term". A little goes a long way -- which is a good thing. At the same time, my personal family budget can be stretched only so far. And so ...

Good but Potent

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.The packaging of this product is eye-catching and I appreciate a smaller bottle size as we don't go through the larger ones fast enough. The twist spout is convenient for use.Smell-wise it's similar to other sriracha sauces, but with a hint of Tabasco.Upon tasting, I felt the level of heat was higher than the 2/5 flames shown on the bottle. The flavor depth was good, but the heat concentration was a bit more than expected.I'm not sure I'd just put this right on anything like I would other hot sauces, it would have to be added into something in order to better control the spice level.I'd be interested to try the other variety.

Good heat and flavor

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This has a flavorful spicy taste. It is spicier than I was expecting but the perfect amount of heat to me. It is pretty think, and has the consistency of ketchup. It actually had somewhat of a ketchup flavor the first time I tasted it but the more I ate it, the better it was. This would be good on pretty much anything you wanted to put it on to add more heat or flavor. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't have any preservatives and only a small amount of added sugar.

Great replacement for huy fong! Tastes amazing!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. We all know huy fong brand sriracha has been a staple forever. It's got such a distinct taste. Tabasco brand nailed it. It's not as sweet but correct in all the rights aspects. Tastes great on chicken; sushi, friend rice, and frozen dinners where you wanna take it up a notch. I put sriracha on almost everything. You can't do wrong trying this. It does have a hint of Tabasco flavor in it, but I'm not complaining! Enjoy eating food with Tabasco sriracha sauce as an excellent accompaniment!

I found a good Sriracha at last!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.This is a fantastic hot sauce! I am in love at first sight. I've been trying to find a replacement or backup for the ubiquitous Huy Fong Sriracha sauce on the market, and I think I finally found it with Tabasco's rendition. The sauce is very nice to taste and a slightly sweet flavor that goes well with almost everything. It has enough spice to punch a little kick but not enough to overwhelm you. I think it can go together very well with anything that I will have now or in the future. I am truly in love with this sauce at first sight.

Just as Good when Huy Fong isn’t available

I prefer the original green capped Huy Fong Foods but this is a very acceptable alternative when I can’t get it. Of all the alternatives I’ve tried this is the only one I can stand as a real substitute. I keep bottles of Huy Fong and tobasco brand in reserve for when I cannot find it in the store. But if I use a bottle, I get a replacement immediately to keep my reserve at 2 extra bottles. I cannot be without this stuff as it adds so much in terms of flavor. The folks that hate on this brand saying it lacks flavor or spice are mistaken I believe. And the ones giving one star I really don’t understand at all. This stuff is just as good when the original is unavailable.

Nice sriracha!

I really enjoyed the Tabasco Sriracha sauce! It is a little bit thinner and not as spicy as other Srirachas that I have tried. It also has little bit of a sweet finish to it that I didn't mind and a bit of a garlic kick. Pretty tasty. I also think it's fun that they put actual Tabasco in it so if you like Tabasco I think you'll really enjoy this!I'm looking forward to mixing it in to ketchup and mayo to make some fun dipping sauces and putting this on my scrambled eggs in the morning :)I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Slight kick of spiciness

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.The hot sauce has a kick of spiciness that lasts for 2 seconds and then gets a bit sweet. The hot sauce has a thicker consistency than regular Tabasco but thinner than Sriracha. I do refrigerate all hot sauces so that they can cool down hot foods. I used the hot sauce on pizza, popcorn, and chips to give it a bit of flavor which tasted pretty good. I do like that they used the Sriracha bottle since the top does not get crusty and none of the hot sauce dries out. If you don't like spicy sauces but still want a kick of flavor then this is perfect for you.

Staple in our fridge

Hot sauce is a staple in our house, and we like this Tabasco sriracha sauce for when we have scrambled eggs, and also added in for sauces and marinades, usually with steak. We make a dish that's called something like "steak and butter zucchini noodles," and this sauce is a must for it. Also, it's delicious added to beef and broccoli stir fry. It's got a nice flavor added compared to regular Tabasco, and has a nice kick to it. The squeeze bottle and screw top is great, and helps keep the bottle clean. I like the 20oz compared to the smaller size.

Tasty sauce

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As a self proclaimed sauce connoisseur, I've tried a LOT of them - some good and some not so good lol. To be honest I didn't have high hopes for this tabasco siracha as the popular version is pretty good as is, but I thought this was nice overall! While it won't replace my favorite siracha sauce, this one had all the elements I love about it: fresh notes, just enough spice to bump up a dish without overpowering, and cheap/easy to find! If you're a fan of OG tabasco I'd definitely recommend trying this, think you'd appreciate this leveled up hot sauce.
