Takis Intense Nacho Big Bag - 280g

I received this item from Influenster and Takis for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I personally prefer thicker cut chips, but I found these to be good quality thin chips - they are well packaged so they actually stay intact and the bag is filled! I did take off 2 stars because the naming of the chips seems inaccurate. The wave texture doesn’t come through in a thin chip - I think most people who like wavy chips want more texture and a thicker cut. Also, and I recognize this is more of a personal preference issue, but the flavor isn’t really “intense nacho cheese.” It’s really more of a cheddar French onion flavor, which if you like, you’ll really enjoy.

I received Takis Intense Nacho Rolls 3.25 oz Bag, Nacho Cheese Flavored Cheesy Tortilla Chips complimentary for my honest review. While the cheese flavoring definitely has that distinct nacho cheese essence, the tortilla rolls were too crunchy for my liking. Once the outer coating of cheese flavor dissolved in my mouth, the tortilla part remaining was reminiscent of stale Bugles. I am not completely disappointed for my first time ever trying Takis, though I am somewhat let down. I appreciate their packaging clearly identifying they are NON-SPICY. I also find it interesting and worth noting that the terms “rolls” and “cheesy tortilla chips” are nowhere on the packaging? Oh! I received the jalepeno typhoon , nitro, bbq blasts and intense nacho. I am a fan of Takis. I really enjoyed the jalapeño typhoon that was probably my favorite because that was the kettle. The nitro was good also but I found it to be a little hot for my liking, but my boyfriend really enjoyed them. The barbecue blast were also really good and I enjoyed that it had a little bit of a kick to it and a barbecue sweet flavor which I really enjoyed as well, the nacho flavor was also good. These are a standout snack! The texture is what really sets them apart from the competition. They're wonderfully crunchy without being too hard, which is what I prefer. Unlike some other brands that can feel like they're about to crack a tooth, these strike the perfect balance. Flavor wise, they're not spicy at all, which is a bit of a surprising route given the usual Takis reputation for heat. But I’m not mad about it at all. Instead, they offer a rich, sharp cheesy nacho taste that's satisfyingly bold. I love them and my daughter loves them, so I’ll definitely be picking up a bag.

You guys, I’m just going to be honest. These chips were awful. They were so bad that I actually could not finish them. I also really didn’t like the fact that they were clearly given some bright orange color with who knows how many terrible ingredients. It definitely tasted cheesy but in a very artificial way. I can’t say I would ever buy these again, and I would not recommend these. The bag did, however, have a fair amount of chips, so I think it’s a good value if you like the flavor. I think I may not be the target audience for these, but I genuinely did not like them at all.

Intense Nacho?? NOT!!!

I'm from Wisconsin and just love cheesy things, and I can tell you these are not cheesy. These are the most bland nacho chips I have ever tasted, and these are supposed to be intense nacho, like really? I do like the crispy crunch, but I wish they had a cheese flavor. I get a hint of nacho every once in awhile, but after a few bites these taste just like a corn chip to me. Maybe I got a bad batch that the cheese didn't stick good? With these being a rolled up chip, I don't think there's enough surface area to hold the cheesy powder. I will not buy these again. I enjoy the spicy Takis much better.
