Decent thinner for Tamiiya paiints, mixes well and sprays beautifully. Gives hardwearing finish if left for 24 hours or more to properly cure.

I was hesitant like most people. But when I recieved my package I was amazed at the care the company put into it. Honestly way better then any liquid content I have ordered from amazon or walmart themselves. The item was in a individual bag that was tightly sealed then wrapped in bubble wrap. the box it was shipped in was the perfect size so there wouldn't be much damage to the goods. I give them an A for their price, speed, and packaging! Will buy from them again as a new site to add to my collection. Thank you team at A-Z Toy Hobby for going the extra for your customers!

For the longest time I couldn't find this stuff anywhere! I'm so glad I was able to get a bottle. I forgot how tasty this stuff is. Great way to end a long day at the office. Just a single shot goes a long, log way! Straight with no chaser, or mixed into your favorite holiday concoction, the flavor just can't be beat! A+++++ would drink again!!

My wife uses this to clean brushes in painting projects. she changes colors often and requires clean brushes each time. This is the best thinner we have found. If she keeps using Acrylic paint we will keep reordering.
I've tried other acrylic thinners, and Tamiya's X20A X-20A are easily the best. And Sunward is the only place I go to for my supplies!
First, its Tamiya! Ya cant go wrong is a general rule. Second, for acrylic airbrushing, I tend to stick manufacturer items as far as chemicals go. And third, got a chuckle wondering how durable thinner is.
I have been modelling aircraft of all sorts for over 30 years, yet I am a relative newcomer to airbrushing techniques. I have used an airbrush before, but it is an art unto itself and after talking to a friend he recommended using a thinning agent to obtain better results. So, being an advocate of Tamiya paints, I chose this one to get me going. At first it is trial and error, but with a little practice correct consistency can be easily achieved. There are other products out there (and I even have friends who use water!), but this is the one for me. Well worth the small outlay, and if properly used, will last a long time.
I have been trying to spray with watered-down paints, but after watching youtube started to mix paints with thinners as they dry faster and do not run. I have never airbrushed before, all this is new to me as this is my new year's hobby and enjoying it as relaxing apart from when things do not go to plan and do run. Regards. John Brooke.
...but since the amount is usually small, I just get this thinner, since I don't want to experiment with using rubbing alcohol, or even vodka instead of the thinner. If I were going to soak a lot of parts or otherwise use a lot, I'd be going straight to the rubbing alcohol (or acetone for cleaning) and not this stuff. It's too expensive for such uses.. then again i use cheap airbrushes, I couldn't say if the seals in the AB will stand up to acetone, or not but so far I have not had a problem i could point to using it. Anyway if i buy anything that says Tamiya i expect two things 1-it's gonna cost me and 2-it'll do what they say it does. So for thinning acrylics, doesn't matter whose, I use this thinner and it hasn't let me down yet.
