Tamron 16-50mm F2.8 A

The Tamron 16-50mm F2.8 A offers a versatile zoom range that spans from ultra-wide-angle to short telephoto, making it ideal for everything from sweeping landscapes and architectural scenes to family portraits, travel photography, and everyday moments. Despite its bright constant F2.8 aperture, the lens maintains a compact, travel-friendly design, measuring just 77.6mm in length, weighing only 305g, and accepting convenient 55mm filters. Built with exceptional rigidity and portability, it's the perfect everyday zoom lens to keep within reach. The constant F2.8 aperture produces smooth, attractive background blur while delivering excellent image quality and improved low-light performance, allowing for faster shutter speeds when lighting conditions are less than ideal. Equipped with Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor, the lens provides fast, accurate autofocus and reliable subject tracking, making it easy to capture unpredictable action from children, pets, and other moving subjects. A minimum object distance of just 15cm at the wide end also unlocks impressive close-up shooting possibilities. Combining advanced optical performance with a lightweight, highly portable design, the 16-50mm F2.8 A is a versatile companion for both photography and video creation.
