Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush - Paaarty

(VIDEO REVIEW)I'm shocked that I couldn't find the shade "quirky" in the database, unless the name's changed, but I absolutely LOVE this blush the shade! It's an absolutely beautiful matte peach shade yes, it lasts! Although for 12 hours, I wouldn't know, as I don't wear makeup for more than 8 hours! But, it does "stain" the skin with the color, like Benefit's stain blush! The color is absolutely beautiful looks absolutely stunning on the skin! I remember the VERY FIRST time I tried this blush, I couldn't get over how good my overall complexion looked! It added just the RIGHT AMOUNT of color pop to brighten my face to add a gorgeous natural looking flush of color! Lack of Pigmentation

I used Paaarty for 2 years and I decided to get a 2nd one for summer that I tagged when I bought it. But Tarte changes the shades too often, and Exposed looked like the safest to get online without trying. It seemed to be a Universal shade. But it is so dull on my face. It adds no vibrancy, just looks blah. I'm a neutral base & light-skinned, and use blush to contour and add vibrancy. It also fades during the day, unlike Paaarty which lasted a good 12 hours. I took off 3 stars, as it seems that the quality has diminished. There seems to be a lack of pigmentation. And I've also seen reviews that say the Paaarty shade has changed. It's time to visit the store and see the shades in person again. It used to be a fabulous brand for long-lasting & high quality blush.

Manufacturing error

I used and enjoyed this blush for several months until, after the top layer was used up, the next layer was a hot pink. The color I purchased, Dazzled, is definitely not supposed to be hot pink. The only think I can think is that there was some kind of manufacturing error. I own several Tarte makeup products (bronzer, eyeshadows, another color of blush) and this hasn't happened with any of the other products. Even so,I agree with other reviewers that it's difficult to get any color off this palette and also sometimes it's a different color underneath when you do figure out how to use it. I won't be purchasing this product again.

Natural Beauty

I love the color Natural Beauty and have used it for years. I hope they never discontinue my favorite shade ever. I have super sensitive skin and this has never broken me out. This color is highly pigmented unlike several other shades so anyone that says they have to swipe a lot to pick up product. This shade absolutely picks up and delivers, therefore, it lasts me forever and I use it daily. Everyone thinks it is my natural flush. Yes, it looks that good. I firmly believe this would look good on everyone. Now every one of my close friends wear this color. The only thing I would change about this is that it contains talc, I know, I sure wish it did not. That is the only disappointment for me. I love it so much that the talc has not stopped me. New vegan formula but still great

The new formula is soft, pigmented but buildable, easy to blend and long lasting. Along with the formula revamp, new shades were added so now there's something for everyone. I bought one new shade, Big Ego, a bright very cool toned pink, and one previously existing shade, Paaarty, a light nude pink with a neutral to warm undertone that hasn't changed. Both have a satin/matte finish and apply beautifully with natural hair and synthetic brushes. The main difference is this full size now comes with about 2 grams less product for the same price but that's not uncommon with reformulations as vegan ... More*Purchased myself here at Ulta the day it released. Nice, subtle blush.

This is a great blush if you want something more subtle and buildable. I'm pretty pale so I have a hard time finding blushes that don't look too heavy on me and this one is pretty good. I like that it's buildable and has a good color selection. However, it does tend to hardpan very easily so I find myself having to scrape off the top layer sometimes just to use it. It is also pretty subtle for some people so if you prefer something more pigmented, you might not be a big fan of it. It also doesn't last too long on my oily skin. Overall, it is a good blush, although I do feel that there are better ones out there for the price.

No drama in Drama

I've been a big fan of Tarte clay blushes for years now, there are 13 in my collection. It's been at least 5 years since I bought any but Honeysuckle seriously caught my eye so I brought it home. It's absolutely gorgeous; very slightly less pigmented than I thought it would be given how deep the pan color is, but I'm quite fair skinned so that works for me. Drama was next on my list. The shade in the pan is a GORGEOUS poppy red, I've been waiting for Tarte to make this shade literally for years now(!!!). But I brought it back the next day - there is almost no pigment in this shade. I had to really pack it on and in the end, it was nearly identical to Tipsy (a vibrant coral) - more coral than red. Pretty color; could be longer lasting

I have no experience with the previous size/formulation of this product, so I can't comment on that change. Just thought I'd start by saying that since several of the recent reviews seem to be very upset about those things. I'm relatively new to makeup, but bought this on the recommendation of a youtuber I watch who said these were good for beginners. She was right! I've never been able to get cream blush to look right, but this powder is super easy. I have literally no skill, but just collecting powder on the brush, tapping once on my wrist to make sure there's not too much, and then dusting from the apples of my cheeks and upward looks very nice. The color is very similar to how my cheeks actually flush. I purchased this and one of the new shades in full size, Big Ego, and surprisingly, am just as happy with this reformulated version as I was with the original. Although now vegan, it's just as pigmented but buildable, easy to blend and long lasting. I don't see much of a difference between this new version of Paaarty and the old; both a nude pink shades with a neutral to warm undertone and a satin/matte finish. Unlike the new full size, which now contains less product than before, the mini stayed the same at 1.5 grams.
