Anytime I try new concealers, they end up being my favorite. This is the latest concealer I purchased and I’m so glad I did. It IS the best concealer I’ve had. It’s very hydrating which I love. Since I’ve turned 40, my skin gets more dry every year. So I always love anything hydrating. It has very good coverage. I have rosacea and some flaws, so I usually use a concealer, foundation and a foundation powder. I used this concealer over moisturized and SPF’d skin, I pat it on my skin as I blend with a beauty blender. After that I don’t even have to use foundation. And it stays on for hours. Right now I’ve had it on for 6 hours and it’s still going. Definitely a must try!!

I had picked this up while it was on sale and it surprised me when I first tried it. As the formula is more of a thick consistency while also drying out quickly once you put it on. I mainly use it for my undereyes and it blends out beautifully. Covers my dark circles while also staying there all day. I've been using this almost everyday since I first got it

So I got this and have wanted to try this line from Tarte for some time. So when I saw this at Sephora I decided it was time! It was a decent match but maybe it’s due to the extra boost of hyaluronic acid in it, but this applies and wears more like a foundation than a concealer. The first time I applied it I did have a hard time covering or concealing areas that most concealers would not have problems with. But once I was able to use it on my entire face, even though it’s not a foundation, it looked good as one without the thickness of a concealer. But this IS a.concealer. And I tried once more to use it on top of my foundation as a concealer and it was a little bit better but just not quite at the coverage of a concealer. Love that there is a whole range of shade options but be sure to get colour matched at a store because based on pictures and reviews, I was about to purchase a shade that was totally wrong for me online. But thankfully I didn’t and love that I found my elusive perfect shade with a bit more effort involved. That aside, the formula is luxurious and super creamy, providing full coverage without looking too heavy on the skin. Good for concealing under eyes and also spot correcting. Also holds up well for a full day. Will definitely repurchase.
Use this as my foundation currently; it’s more glowy( not shiny) a finish than shape tape , which I prefer ( my daughter commented how clear and fresh my skin looked the other day and it was this set I had on!). I like to wear over the glowlight, which I stroke over high points of cheeks , bottom of chin, across forehead , then I apply the concealer with the sponge. For me, lovely smooth , non cakey , natural , skin- like finish . I’m a moderately fair , Caucasian skin with blue eyes , dark hair and chose light neutral which is fine without any colour on my skin , then I can go to light medium . I also used shade matching tool on Tarte website which also matched me to light neutral ( I’m more neutral undertone rather than being too pink or yellow) . I just received my power flex concealer with brush and I’m already in love! I only used a small amount for a “no makeup” makeup look at it looks/feels great! I was slightly worried about the matte finish as I’m 33 with dry skin…but it’s more of a natural matte and is a hydrating formula still. It covered beautifully under my eyes and looks really natural! I love the brush (more than I thought I would!!) & will definitely be using both products daily!
Love Tarte sugar rush concealer stick, so thought this product would be a wonderful addition as both a concealer and foundation. CONS: Extremely drying to the skin. Tarte rep said it would offer moisture for 12 hours??? After application, it felt like a clay mask…tightening/pulling occurred almost immediately. I could feel it sucking the moisture right out of my skin…horrible. Caused skin irritation (blotchy reddening) and burning in my eyes/ eye area…after leaving on for only an hour. Note: color dried much lighter, and had a whitish cast…like chalk dust. PROS: Great brush, very good coverage…In fact, covered all my flaws! My skin looked like porcelain covered with chalk dust (not attractive). I purchased this because usually I LOVE Tarte products. Their Hydroflex Serum foundation is the main foundation I use daily. So I was stunned and upset when I used this concealer, it actually BURNS under my eyes to the point I have to wash it off! I tried 3 different times now hoping it wouldn't keep doing it. I don't have super sensitive skin. I've never had another face product do that to me. I'm so disappointed.I never had to return a makeup product to QVC before and didn't realize I lose $7 just to send it back. I feel like I just threw money in the trash buying this concealer.I am only in my 30s and I don't have problems with wrinkles yet but this enhances the few I have so much. It was delivered very fast & in good packaging. This was promised to be a full coverage concealer/foundation. With my dry, mature skin, sadly I didn't find the coverage to be full at all; I tried application with both the brush & my fingers. I also found it quite "flat matt" on the face with no glow/dewiness which I found aging. I like a bronzed/beige colour ordering natural tan which I found to be too light for my skin colour. Apologies for leaving a poor review, disappointed I had to return this for a refund, my search for an effective "full" coverage foundation continues. Clinique praise that you are now available on QVC; if you could please bring back "continuous coverage foundation in bronzed beige", that would make my day!
love this concealer very much before I switch to ultra creamy one. Great coverage, long lasting and non drying so my lines around eye areas are not showing after use. Always love Tarte concealers!
