This is the Tarte Tartelette juicy clay palette with 20 shades. At first sight, these colors are exactly what I like. The promo pics made these look more rosy than they actually are. There are 10 mattes, 4 with pearl finishes, and 6 are a subtle metallic finish. This formula was different than previous palettes that I’ve purchased before 2021. It is a little firmer, a little dusty but not a deal breaker. I didn’t love this because it can become a little muddy, the shades are pretty similar/too light. I almost need to use a different palette to create a little depth with these shades (to create my preferred looks).

This is my first Tarte palette I’ve been so underwhelmed. I always love warm shades, and I was drawn to the pink-ish shades in this. I found that applying this shadow took a bit more effort than other palettes to get the blend I wanted. The most frustrating thing is that the colors just don’t look the same on the skin as they do in the palette. Every time I apply a shade, it ends up looking different than I expect. Frustrating the quality just wasn’t worth the price.

Gorgeous Palette

Gorgeous palette, but missing one shade for me. It’s super pretty, great colour payoff and easy to blend. I have two other Tarte palettes and they’re all lovely to use. This one I would grab for more of a specific look; not necessarily for everyday. I feel like it’s missing that palest white/nude shade for highlighting inner corner and/or brow bone, that means I have to use another palette or grab a single to make up for the missing shade.

I agree with other reviewers, the shimmers do not pop, but if you pair a Pat McGrath special shimmer shade as a pop then voila the look is complete! If you don’t need a blinding shimmer then this palette is probably more your moment.The biggest difference from the UD Naked cherry palette and this is that the UD palette has a deeper selection, the deep colors in the Tarte palette aren’t that deep.Beginner friendly. Neutral lover palette

I enjoy a good neutral palette and this one definitely exceeds my expectations. I really enjoyed the mattes and shimmers. Everything applied very beautiful and had great color pay off. For reference I am medium skin tone with dark brown hair. All of these shades showed up nicely. I had no issues whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this palette, you will not regret it!

So I bought this pallette and the Natasha love pallette at the same time to compare. I found that although the love palette has more vibrant pink/red shades, they are rather intense and looked too unnatural for every day wear, would be perfect for a night out tho. This palette is very similar in quality compared with Natashas eyeshadow but costs much less. Only difference being the colors are not quite as blendable and creamy. Still great tho! It has some really pretty pink, bronzy, champagne, mauve, and neutral shades. I found myself reaching for this more often because it gives the complimentary pink shades to the eye but has more neutral transition colors and is much more wearable. This pallette offers that variety for much less money and is high quality still.
