The first thing I was impressed with is when you open this, it does this AIR POP thing that is louder and more prominent than any other mascara I’ve experienced, so this is going to last and be fresh a lot longer than others is my feeling!! I’ve only tried one other tubing mascara, and that was the Chanel Le Stretch, which I was sooo impressed with. My lashes were like pipe cleaners standing straight up! This is NOT a tubing mascara. It really is not. I tried to believe everyone was wrong and it had to be one but it definitely is not. I haven't used a true tubing mascara since Lash Injection (I still cry about it. Defines and Comes Off Easy

I was so excited that Tarte came out with a tubing mascara! I love my Lash Paint mascara, but it’s a fight to get it off - I use a special makeup remover, plus a makeup remover wipe, AND toner, and it’s still somewhat there the next day. It’s gotten so I only wear it when I go out.I used this and love the look - I have very blonde, naturally long eyelashes. It separated them and defined them but I can’t say anything as to lengthening because mine are already naturally long. I read the worst review and I'd have to strongly disagree with them: they said it flaked terribly. I dont know what they were doing, but I have actually rubbed my eyes with this on and thought "oops! forgot I have mascara on" looked in the mirror and I was surprisingly totally fine. Maybe a tiny black dot that i could easily pick off with my finger, but nothing dramatic. The only con is you do have to work fast when putting it on because it does dry and it makes it hard to go back and get the missed eyelashes without the dried-mascara-covered lashes getting in the way. I'm sad

I wanted to love this as im on the hunt for a good.. no GREAT tubing mascara since my long lost love (pixi 188) was discontinued for some stupid reason. I love tarte mascaras and tons of other stuff they make too so I had pretty high hopes for this. sadly nope. I wore this daily for at least 2 solid weeks and came to the realization it flakes under my eyes.. I thought maybe it was my eyeliner at first but had a few days of only wearing sunscreen and mascara and it still happened. the first day it wasn't as bad but as days passed and the tube dried slightly it progressively got worse, so annoying so I stopped wearing it. I'm not normally someone to write a review, but I felt compelled to here because I was shocked to see so many lower ratings. I may be a bit selfishly motivated too as I'd hate to see this pulled from the market!I'm not a big makeup person, but I am a huge mascara person. Mascara is my must have and I've tried just about everything out there. My top 3 faves are Thrive Causemetics Tubing, L'oreal Lash Sensational and Now this Tartelette Tubing Mascara.I've used this mascara for a month now and I'm very happy with it. It took a few applications to figure out how to apply it best, but I'm totally hooked. No smudging... No flaking... No drooping... Stays workable and allows for a build... I wasn't going to buy this mascara because of all the bad reviews but then decided to buy a mini just because I love tubing mascaras and I'm always on the hunt for the next great one! My lashes are very unruly and frustrating, especially my left eye, the lashes clump together in so many places, they stick in every direction and there are gaps in between them because of chronic hair loss so I have massive problems with both lashes and brows and finding a mascara that doesn't make them look like spider legs is difficult, but I DO NOT understand the negative reviews this mascara is getting because it is AMAZING!! There isn't massive volume but there's still enough for me to be absolutely in love with it! It isn't flake free I won't lie, there is some flaking but not nearly enough to complain about it and it's mostly on the upper lid because my lashes touch the lid sometimes, but it's easy to remove and I have to do that anyway with most mascaras so it doesn't put me off one bit, and it doesn't bleed or leave you with racoon eyes or anything like that! It stays on for hours looking just as good as in the beginning and it's pretty easy to remove with double cleansing at night. I don't know why so many people complain about it but I am DONE listening to reviews!! So many times have I seen negative reviews for a product but then loving it when I ended up buying it myself so I say try it before you judge it and don't listen to other people's opinions!! My reviews are always 100% honest, I've never gotten paid or been given products to write reviews and I rarely write reviews anyway but when a product works this well for me I have to share that!

This is the best mascara I've ever used in my life, and I've been using mascara for 38 years. It is better than all of the big name mascaras I have ever tried. Nothing from any of the other prestige brands even comes close. My eyelashes are short and stubby, and you can barely see them. False eyelashes and eyelash extensions are so damaging, and are probably the reason my eyelashes are so bad today. I had just about given up on mascaras when I tried this one. It is absolutely incredible! Two coats and it's like I have lash extensions! The brush is perfect. The formula is perfect. It lasts all day, and even into the next day if for some reason I don't wash it off that night. It does not flake all over my face. It does not migrate down to under my eyes. Very good when you need one that can stand up to rain but washed off easily

I bought this mascara during tarted after the holidays sale sir it was very affordable and I am pretty happy with it. I wanted to try a tubing mascara while on a trip to Ireland where I knew it would probably be rainy and windy and didn't want a waterproof mascara that was hard to remove and this has been really good for exactly that. The photo is of me on the Ireland coast when it was crazy windy and pouring rain and no smudging, not flakes, not issues at all with it. It goes on pretty easily but for me it doesn't give the amount of volume and length I typically like but does a decent job of enhancing my lashes (though will likely only wear it when the weather is bad). I do not experience any fall out with this product when using any of my settings sprays, and it has also held up through workouts without any but that’s just living on the edge. Dior, Lancôme, ilia, essence, hourglass and all my other favorites, please go home now you’re dismissed. As a non lash strip or extension wearer, this is everything!
