Bought this as my German shepherd is hugely toy driven and loves chew toys. He has since spent many hours chewing it. Surprisingly my Tibetan Mastiff who isn't big on toys and only chews occasionally seems to love the toy also. Likely due to taste. I ended up buying the red one too so they had some variety.I feel like with this product you need to consider your animals drives and make sure it is part of a toy rotation to keep up the novel.

I was amazed at how weighty it was when it arrived and also how indestructible it felt and didn't smell like chicken!!If your dog has a narrow nose and jaw that's ok.We gave our Labrador this wonderful looking chew but with in moments he let out a high pitched yelp because he had got his bottom jaw stuck in the "u" shaped area between the ball and square section and was unable to remove himself from the chew, I would recommend not leaving your dog alone with this toy/chew as they could get into a situation they couldn't get out of by themselves. If it was a little more flexible, it could be better. It's very well made but so well made it's totally boring for a dog that likes to chew and spit out bits until it's gone!! Wouldn't recommend if you want your dog to ... I bought this about a year ago for a husky cross pup whose bite is good enough to shred plastic bottles in a few minutes and therefore most chews have a limited lifespan, regardless of how tough they're supposed to be.She wasn't fussed about it for a few weeks and I thought it had been wasted money, but she slowly started to chew on it more and more and now it's the only toy that's managed to last. It's handled dedicated chew sessions and the shape seems to be easy for her to balance between her paws. The ends are being whittled away, but all pieces seem to be absolutely tinyIt is solid enough that it could be considered a suitable weapon in a game of Cluedo, so this is definitely one not to throw

Says it is durable but my puppo had it for 30 min and red flakes were coming off - they say it is easily digested and will pass through the gastro system - but this still worries me as dogs shouldn't be ingesting anything plastic. He had red flakes all in his poo the next day. I will be following up for a refund as this is not worth $40.
Having both a small kelpie x (11months) and a dachshund (2 yrs) they have already given this bone a hard time and it has stood up to the test exceptionally well. This bone has saved my plants, furniture and washing on the clothes rack from even getting a look in by them. They would much rather play with this to get out those chewy and mischievous urges. Definitely recommend.
Our pup is a strong chewer so this toy has resisted her chewing! Fantastic! She was initially very into chewing the toy but her interest has waned a little now perhaps because she couldn't destroy it?
Between 2 golden retrievers and 1 Maremma, not one of them liked this. The material is ceramic-like, and clinks on their teeth. Each of them tried to have a go of it but only lasted seconds before deciding it was a big NO. What a waste of my money! I gave it 1 star because I can't give it zero.
Our BA x Dane will chew up bones and XL yak chews in 5 minutes. He loves puzzles , vegetables and all things food. I had to put peanut butter on this for him to even look at it, and once he'd licked it off, left it out in the yard!
This is a really hardy product for tough chewers. If you're sick of other toys that don't last the week I recommend you try this. I have a miniature bull terrier and she is pretty happy with this. It's not her favourite but she will pick it up and give it a good go periodically. It is harder and heavier than I expected, when she throws it around I think she's going to break something - but it is certainly tough and looks like it will easily last the distance. The nobbly texture is probably nice on her teeth and gums too. A shame they didn't stock the peanut butter flavour.
We have two large (over 40 Kg) 11 month old long haired GermanShepherd boys. They love these nylon bones and these recently ordered ones are for their first birthday present in February. They are the only chew toys that have lasted our boys strong jaws. High recommend.
