I have not tried the stealth 2 plus yet but my review is based off of the customer support and taylormade company as a whole.I bought a stealth almost 2 years ago and the face looked like it was peeling, almost like mylar tape. But anyway taylormsde sent me a brand new stealth 2 plus head and I was 1 week away from no warranty. That is why I will always buy from taylormade.Love their drivers/fairway woods/irons. Jury still out on their wedges. But such a great company and awesome customer service in my experiences. Thanks again taylormade.

I ordered a LH Demo TM Stealth 2 +. It was listed with a Kaili Red 60 S. I received it today, the shaft was a Diamna 60 S with a RH sleeve. The head is LH, but the shaft was pulled off of another driver in the store and sent out. This is the first time I’ve been left hanging by GG, and it’s disappointing. The risk I take ordering a Demo, sold as-is, I suppose. It will make me think twice before ordering again. I can still use the RH sleeve but all the markings will be opposite what they should be. I’ll also research the shaft, maybe it’s better than the Kaili Red, who knows…however, I did hit a few balls and think it’ll work out. But, come on GG Miami…pretty lame QC down there.

I have always loved Taylormade drivers, and believe they make the best ones available. For whatever reason, I played a few different Callaway drivers over the last few seasons. After Taylormade offered a deal I could not pass up, I bought this Stealth 2 Plus driver with a stiff Kai'li Red shaft.I went and played my first round with this driver on a chilly Maryland December day. With no range time and no practice hits, I smashed my drive on the first tee down the center of the fairway with a slight fade. Beautiful.I have recently been having trouble with my drives (with my older driver), hitting OB several times a round. I have now played this Stealth 2 Plus driver for two rounds and have not lost a ball off the tee. This driver is excellent. So far so good. I love this driver. Sticking with Taylormade!

I have a variety of drivers to select from at home. This includes the Callaway Paradigm, PXG 0311, and Titleist TSi4. Each driver has different shafts. High launch to low launch depending on the weather conditions. I had last year’s Stealth driver and traded it due to lack of distance; however, this year’s model is significantly better as in longer. I typically hit drives 280 yards. I am getting averages closer to 300 yards. I have an LA Golf XStiff shaft and using a TP5x golf balls. After a round of golf, I was able to get a pretty good feel for timing based on the club weight. I didn’t see any shot variances left or right on slightly missed hit shots. This club feels and performs much better than last year’s model.
Next day delivery - great service . The driver is superb. I had an older Taylormade driver - bought 8 yrs previously thru Golfbox, so with a 20% off flash sale I purchased. And I’m happy I’ve upgraded. The driver didn’t come with an adjustable tool. But luckily my old drivers tool does fit.I play off 10 handicap. Normally hit 220m range. This driver has added higher and longer drives.
I have been playing the initial Stealth driver and read reviews that the Stealth 2+ was measurably better, so I ordered it. I hit it a few times and found the opposite - it did not work as well for me as the one I had (still a great club for most people). Some sites, like TGW, have a 30 day playability guarantee with 90% credit, so I took this back to Dick's to see what they offered. The tags were still on the shaft and they said it looked like it had never been hit, but I told them that I did try it, so they offered me 30%. My bad for not checking this out in advance, but I will never buy golf equipment from Dick's again.
Old one is much better for me and I hear that a lot. Listen to the pga players that use it. They like the old one better too. The staff needs to be more familiar with the differences. I was told the new stealth was the same as the old one just more forgiving. I never could hit the new one as well. I got a fitting and they measured and the lie angle between the two is different. I asked taylormade and they told me it was the opposite of what it actually is. They said the new one is more upright when in fact the old one is. I listened to Taylormade's expertise and it ended up being an almost $700 mistake. When buying the most expensive driver on the market your employees need to know the information. When buying the most expensive driver on the market your employees need to know the information. I don't know why they changed the lie angle for the first time in years but I wish their staff knew that so they could better inform me before spending that much money on a driver. I asked for more information yesterday on how to make the new driver more comparable to the old and they still did not have the correct information. Wish I could return this new one and just play my old stealth.
Great driver, until it’s not. I’ve been through 3 so far in less than 3 months. The first driver was amazing for about 6 rounds and then the face started separating. The second one was the same story. The third hasn’t been right from the fist shot. Feels dead and has a funny sound. Ball flights are off and it’s 30-40 yards short of my standard drives. It’s nice that TaylorMade replaces them, but very frustrating that they have to be replaced so often. Quality Control is lacking. I’ve played TaylorMade drivers for years, but I am finally too fed up to continue the saga. I have to keep a backup driver knowing that a brand new one may not last through the first round.
I bought this demo club about a month ago, and it was so worth it! I finally broke down and started taking lessons this last year and everything has been falling into place. I decided it was time that I retire the TaylorMade R9 and move up in the world. I had hit numerous driver's before arriving at this one, but this one was so forgiving and had a great sound. I am glad that I was able to get this club how I wanted it and it arrived before it was even expected!
It's been awhile since I bought a Taylormade product, last was a burner mini driver which is a really fun fairway finder that I still use in a vacation set. I really like the size of this head compared to my Ping g425 max. Personally I've never had an issue hitting driver, Stealth 2 plus goes far and toe/heel miss hits are very forgiving with distance. I do love the look or this driver and it sounds mean when you catch one. Another great aspect is all the hosel adjustments that Taylormade allows. Specifically, this driver lie angle was a bit flat for me in standard from playing other brands. I really love that they allow lie angle adjustments that don't effect loft of the club. It's my main men's club gamer and I'm enjoying it.
