Sounds amazing, but more importantly it’s built well and very easy to use and load custom IRs onto. IR pedals all essentially sound the same as each other given the same IRs, and differ on 1) latency 2) max IR length 3) memory size 4) build quality 5) ease of use 6) additional features like EQ 7) appearance. Very glad I went with tc on this. The stock IRs are really good too so no need to change them

Does just what it says, and very nicely, in a tiny, one-knob pedal.As a fiddle player, I use the TC Electronic Impulse Loader to run a 3rd party acoustic violin emulation IR with my piezo pickup. It gets rid of that grainy piezo sound.You can use it for amp/cabinet sims or acoustic instrument IR’s. There is enough gain in the volume knob to get my acoustic IR EQ up to the level of the bypassed signal, which even my expensive multi-FX box couldn’t manage. The footswitch can be set to toggle between 2 presets (A/B) or bypass on/off. And it’s tiny!It comes with several speaker sim presets and a few acoustic guitar EQ’s, with room for up to 99 presets, plus you can download a free app to manage your IR’s (including 3rd party downloads).On the ... MoreBrilliant! It’s by far the cheapest option I have found for playing IR’s.NOTE: this unit is designed to play amp/speaker sims and instrument modeling IR’s. It can’t play most IR reverbs as it’s limited to a playback time of 200ms.
