Researched for months before finally buying this tv to replace a 12 year old 65" Panasonic Plasma that just won't die. It's even better than I expected! Amazing picture, contrast & brightness. Turns on quickly without stuffing about. Reasonable sound quality with some tweaking. Program guide is straight forward and able to delete unwanted channels. Smart functions etc. work quickly. The remote control is amazingly well set out and so simple without useless buttons. Had it for 3 weeks and I'm extremely happy. I've got a matching TCL soundbar on order to go with it so hopefully it won't disappoint.

I walked into JB with a budget of $5k for a new tv. I was set on a well known brand like Sony or Samsung The clerk recommended this particular model TCL. I was reluctant to go TCL due to reading some nasty reviews/stories.Expecting the sound quality to be poor from the tv speakers, I opted for a soundbar. The clerk gave me a good deal on the TV and a sound bar&sub which cost under my $5k budget.Boy was i wrong. I don't need the sound bar at all. This particular model TCL also has an inbuilt subwoofer.Overall, from my experience making and playing music, Sound quality is excellent. Don't let the brand fool you.

I wouldn’t recommend this TV to anyone. Purchased approx a month ago and our TV is defective. It disconnects all our devices from Wi-Fi, then won’t connect to the internet rendering it useless. I have two other Samsung TV’s, and not a single issue with connectivity. TCL have been atrocious to deal with and keep trying to blame my ISP. Just don’t buy it - stick to the better established brands. I have requested a refund or replacement, but they don’t seem to want to go there.

Excellent TV with all the bells and whistles. Great value. Remote is a little basic and coming from a Remote with a numpad on it, slower to change TV channels. There is also no Backlight on the remote. Limited manual adjustments available to picture settings which are available on more expensive brands. Overall a great TV, with a feature set well worth the money in comparison to other brands on the market.
Upgraded to TCL 55" smart TV after 13 years of 40" Samsung. Very fast and easy to deal with appliances online. They price matched approved competitor without any issues or delays. Delivery done on day and time agreed to.If you want the TV put together then you need to book the installation on top. It should be a bit clearer on the website about what installation means as I didn't realise it meant putting the TV together and thought it meant setting up Google TV etc. However the delivery man was nice enough to help assemble the TV as running early. In regards to the actual TV, do some online research about set up if doing yourself like me. I have always stuck with Sony TVs in the past, but have been very impressed by this TCL. I managed to pick it up for under $1500, and at that price, it really is the best bang for buck TV out there. Specs and image quality compare well with Samsung, Sony and LG tvs at a much higher price point. It is a bit heavier than most TVs of a similar size, due to the built-in speakers and sub, but the sounds quality more than makes up for the inconvenience of installation. My only real annoyance was with signing into my Google acount. The QR code was not working and I had to manually enter my details. No biggie though.
This TV is as good as it gets. The picture is clear and the size is pleasure to watch. We can have a lot of movies now and really enjoying the features. It might be just about internet or set up, we experience that few apps are not running really well, so a bit of time to wait it running. Otherwise, we're happy with this purchase. The guy in Harvey Norman Nunawading are also nice and provided info pre-purchase when we visited the store. It made us confident to buy.
Pick up this 75 C845 after salesman recommended TCL. Had my doubts about the brand as I've always had Samsung or LG. Took the leap as the 3 year warranty was attractive. After setting up the TCL which was easy as I'm blow away by the picture quality. Amazing detail and very good black detail. Images really pop and totally mesmerised me when I played 4k content. My previous TV was a 65 2020 QLED Samsung and I must say this TCL C845 leaves it for dead. Very happy with this purchase. Thanks Betta for recommending this tv.
This tv has a great picture & pretty good sound without a sound bar. It’s relatively easy to set up (although my S.I.L. helped. It’s fairly easy to use considering I’m older generation 50+ , trying to keep up with the digital times. Our old LG tv wouldn’t update anymore & not allow us to watch Netflix. So I got this because of price & the fact it’s a Google tv. Some features are difficult to use such as recording & pausing tv, was easier on the old tv but it’s probably something I won’t use that often now anyway.

MoreThis review highlights my initial experience with the TCL TV, the first from this brand after owning Samsung and Sony Bravia TVs. My primary objective was to find a high-quality TV at an affordable price point.First and foremost, I must express my profound satisfaction with this TCL TV. The picture quality is excellent, making it particularly suitable for gaming and movie watching. Furthermore, the menu system operates swiftly, and the Google TV setup was a seamless process, offering an array of app options for download. It is often claimed that TV speakers provide subpar audio, but I was pleasantly surprised by the TV's speaker performance. While it cannot match the caliber of a home theatre or soundbar, the speakers proved to be impressive and more than adequate for the average viewer.During my usage, I observed that some adjustments were necessary when watching sports, especially AFL. The standard sport setting exhibited excessively vibrant colors, undermining the naturalness of the viewing experience. However, with slight tweaks to the settings, I managed to attain the desired color and brightness levels.Initially, the TV may appear overly bright, but this issue can be overcome through acclimatization. Additionally, adjusting the settings further assisted in optimizing the viewing experience. On one occasion, I encountered a minor issue with the TV menu and apps not functioning as expected. However, similar to other electronic devices, a simple reboot resolved this matter. Notably, the reboot process entailed navigating to the settings and selecting the restart option, effectively rectifying any hiccups.Prior to purchasing this TCL TV, I was uncertain about the brand, contemplating a value option from Hisense. However, after extensive research and considering the praise received by the C745 and C845 ranges, I decided to give TCL a chance. Having used it for several months now, I can confidently attest that it has proven to be a worthy investment. I commend TCL for producing an exceptional product and commend its seamless compatibility with the Samsung 990c Soundbar. In conclusion, I must say that this TCL TV stands as the best purchase I have ever made in terms of television sets. The positive feedback I received from the experts at JB HIFI further solidified my satisfaction with this decision. Overall, I am highly impressed with the TV and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking a superior viewing experience without breaking the bank.
