At this price point, really hope they last, but I’m thinking they might wear out after 3-4 years after spending some time with them. Time will tell. If quality is your main factor...have a look at the Belstaff Endurance. Given that TCX discontinued this product, if the boots wear out early I’m expecting the manufacturer to just shrug.Don’t get me wrong...the boots are great. Just a bit nervous I’ll be looking for new ones in a few years. For those wondering...the boots are made in Romania.

Love these things. I mean I love every single thing about them. They look and fit great, and felt really good out of the box. The only comfort challenge was getting the calf opening broken in (or maybe that?s breaking my calves in). I?m wearing them with motocross socks, which helps to pad the calf opening, and after three rides they are already feeling more supple in that area. They are comfortable and good-looking enough to wear off the bike, IMO.Fit: I have wide forefeet and these babies are even just a little wide on me. I way prefer that to being a little narrow. I bought my usual Euro size of 46. Side zip makes for really easy entry, important to me due to having high insteps.

FANTASTIC...but need to sell. I purchased these when I owned an old HD Heritage Softail. They're super comfortable, made extremely well and very rugged. Fit the HD image well. I've recently moved to a BMW R1250RT that requires a smaller-form boots to fit the smaller footpegs and limited space between the massive piston sitting out the sides. I'm a woman, size 8.5 feet - ordered these in black. They are true to size but there's a lot of volume. They fit perfectly once I added Superfeet insoles (pretty thick). Worked out well for me because I always need serious arch support insoles. They feel like they're well made; good quality leather. They look great with black armored skinny jeans tucked in.
These boots are killer! Fit is perfect, even after replacing foot-bed with better arch support inserts. Nice cozy liner around ankle. Great ankle bone protection. Solid zipper (YKK). I feel really well protected. They are a bit on the clunky side, but that's good in a way... more beef.Only critique is the rim around the top, which sort of curls in and digs into my shin/calf. Even with boot socks, I end up with a ring around my leg after taking them off. I hope this breaks in after a while, but its a pretty serious welding they used. But not enough of a gripe to pass on them! If it doesn't break in, I may be screwed.BTW: I had Frye and Durango (from Zappos) boots on hand to compare... hands down neither of them stand up to these.

I was looking for my first pair of engineer style boots. With no prior motorcycle boot experience, I did a little online sleuthing on the TCX brand. I prefered the clean lines and two buckle styling of the TCX Fuel WPs. I have wide (EE), 29 cm long feet and I was a little worried about fitment. Thankfully, a pair of size 45s fit perfectly. One caveat: with feet flat on the ground, if you rock your feet back on your heels, the boot front collar/shaft will contact your shins. This probably won't be an issue after the boots are broken in. Otherwise, this is an excellent boot.

I wear a US 10.5 to 11 work boot and the EU 45 fit well. The width was a little roomy as some have mentioned but slightly thicker insoles fixed that. They are really comfortable out of the box and I'm sure I can wear them all day at or between destinations. The soles are very grippy on all surfaces and getting more so. My calves are medium at about 16.5 inches and I can easily tuck my pants in but also fit nicely over as well. They don't breath well but I wouldn't expect them to and it's no different than any heavy leather boot. They do seem expensive but no more than any other high end, specialty footwear. These are extremely well-made boots, appear very sturdy and look great. I sized them according to the chart on the TCX website, which was accurate, IMO. However, the volume of the boot is too much. Length was prefect but I still left like I was swimming in the boots on the top and bottom of the boot. I would have needed an additional THICK insole to make up for the volume inside. If you have fat feet, you'll love 'em. If you have a lean athletic build like I do, you won't like these. Very disappointing, because they are awesome-looking boots.

I tend to like a more "traditional" style of boot but after my accident I find myself looking for more protection from my gear. These boots, from a styling perspective, are just that. Traditional looks with modern safety features baked in. And NO GAUDY ADVERTISING all over the place!Fitment wise they seem to be as expected. The ankle protectors a obviously there but they don't make the boot uncomfortably tight either. The zippers are rugged and the velcro closure seems like it will last for a good long while. The buckles and straps are quality as well but I don't think that the manufacturer ever intended for you to actually use them to adjust the fit, not that they need it cuz they fit really well. The only down sides I can see construction wise are that the opening at the top of the boot is not "soft" and unless you have fairly tough legs they are likely to chafe worn long term but I am used to waring boot height socks with taller boots anyway so it was a non issue for me. Other than that the insoles are meh, but it is usually an expected upgrade for me anyway so non issue?All in all a great boot that fit as expected, seems durable enough to last for years and fit my picky "technical/classically styled" requirmet perfectly all while still being all day wareable.Wicked good boots guy!
