The Random Access Memory (RAM) is an important part of computers, servers and other electronic devices. Generally it is much faster than the permanent storage memory of your device and all information stored in it will be lost when you switch off your device. Extra RAM is often an affordable and efficient way to upgrade your slightly outdated device, so you can use it another year.

I ordered 2 sets of this memory for my new PC build. I like the look of 4 sticks of RAM. When the 2 sets arrived, one of the 2 sets was DOA and the PC would not boot. I RMA'd that set. The replacement set sent to me from Newegg would at least post. But withing 2 days of installing the replacement set my PC started blue screening. When I ran Window's Memory Diagnostic, it detected a problem with the memory. I removed the replacement set and went back to just 2 sticks of ram and the problems disappeared. One set of 2 sticks of ram are still running fine, but I have only had them for 3 weeks. I have lost faith with the reliability of this product though, and we will see how long that set lasts. Didn't work in my HP Desktop M01-F1024 with Ryzen 7 4700G

Adding this review for those researching RAM compatibility for the HP Desktop M01-F1024 with Ryzen 7 4700G. It did not work in my machine. There is a small chance I received a bad pair of RAM sticks but very unlikely both were bad. I tested each by installing them separately after my PC failed to boot and I got nothing. Technically, it meets all the specs listed: 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM 3200 (PC4 25600) but it did not work in this PC. I didn't know where else to post this and I don't want to be harsh on this product since it may not be defective but is slightly possible. Returning this and ordering a different pair.

I had 2x8 or 16GB of memory in my win 10 computer for about 4 years and started getting near constant blue screens. I ran memtest and it showed thousands of memory errors. My PC also seemed to run slow because I was always using nearly all 16gb's of memory so my cache was constantly being used. This memory doubles my original amount (and costed less than half did 4 years ago). It was an easy pull out and plug in replacement. I haven't had a crash since (over 2 weeks). Couldn't be happier.

Good RAM overall. But beware, there are two different RAM SKU's posing as one.
6 June 2020

I bought two sticks of this RAM (Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16GB (2 x 8GB)) in April of 2020, when it was sold at a 'sale price'. The two 8GB RAM sticks work well with my MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX motherboard with a AMD 2700 8core CPU using the stock cooler. The XPM memory profile allowed me to select 3200MHz with no problems. I bought a second set of these RAM sticks to upgrade my system to 32GB.. However, this second set of RAM modules I purchased from newegg.ca seems to have a compatibility issue with the first set of memory modules that I purchased previously. I was unable to set my XPM profile to 3200MHz with all four memory modules installed. Instead I was limited to 2933MHz. Inspecting the SPD profiles in CPUID shows that one of the sets of memory sticks use Samsung memory modules, while the other set use SK Hynix memory modules. These two sets of memory both came in the same packaging and were marked as the same SKU's. But they are clearly different and have compatibility issues when running at 3200MHz on my B450 motherboard. I suspect that the RAM on-sale uses the SK Hynix modules, while the standard priced RAM uses the Samsung modules. But that is just a theory. Both the Samsuny and Hynix variations of this RAM from TForce are quite good.

Got this product for a great price.

I was looking for 32GB ddr4 ram for quite a while. Finally got it at micro center for great price. It gave a significant boost to the whole system. It boots faster, programs open faster and everything works a lot smoother. I upgraded to 32GB from 12 GB and it shows. Highly recommend upgrading your ram memory esecially for great price like this one.

Great Value, Good Performance
1 July 2022

There are many things you consider or trade off when selecting memory at the $100 price point. You either lose performance, design aesthetics or overclocking capabilities that come with the higher-tier DRAM kits. The Vulcan Z, however, hits all of those marks at this price. In terms of performance, you are looking at a standard 32 GB kit with XMP 2.0 support that runs at 3200 MHz with CL16 timings. You'd mostly get the average kit performance out of the box which is solid and consistent but overclocking is pretty decent with the kit hitting 3800 MHz at 1.35 Volts. Its decent heatsink provides a good amount of cooling to the ICs on the PCB while the gray color looks great. The low profile form factor also makes this kit a great choice for small form factor builders ... MoreThere are many things you consider or trade off when selecting memory at the $100 price point. Great value for excellent ram
28 August 2022

I have 4 sticks of this brand in my computer (2x32 and 2x16). All of them work amazingly. They look great as well. An excellent thing to think about when building a computer is do you always want showy flashy lights? Probably not, things change. Keep your RGB off of your ram so that you can control it. This is why this is the best stuff and at a great price point!

Micro Center prices were great $150 for the CPU, $100 for the DDR4, $100 for LGA 1200 MB, and $100 for the NVME.Unequivocally recommend this for a non-power-user.

Perfect For Life

As an avid pc gamer and IT guy, I can honestly say this brand has exceeded my expectations. I expect every bit of power I can get from my hardware and Teamgroup has delivered. I have had zero issues with XMP profiles, over clocking, under clocking, and boosting. This ram continues to perform on a 24/7 basis with no memory leaks or lags whatsoever. It doesn’t have all of the pretty lights as it’s nonRGB, but if you want performance, that won’t matter.

good budget ram, don't expect oc.
20 October 2022

good budget ram, don't expect oc. xmp profile works perfect and matches advertised speed (ddr4-3200 cl16). I wasn't able to get ANY overclock out of these chips though, fiddling with clocks or timings with or without a voltage bump didn't work, nor did my mobo's 'automatic' overclocking. that's fine for me. novabench says 36194MB/sec benchmark, and I can't beat that at this price.
