It's always extremely frustrating to encounter a product like this: that not only does what it's supposed to do but also EXCELS... yet has one or more MAJOR shortcomings that render is useless (or almost useless). Such is the case with my Teeter inversion table. Starting with the positive: it is a true miracle on the back. As a former National Champion runner who stays in excellent shape, I jumped right in and by Day 2 or 3 was doing 30-60 minutes per day (broken in to 3-8 minute segments over the course of the day)... with AMAZING benefits, and seemingly without issues. However, after about a week or two, I had Ankle pain that I've never experienced before (and since I hadn't started anything else new), the cause was pretty obvious: the Teeter inversion table. (to confirm, I stopped using it for 2-3 weeks, my Ankles recovered and had no further issues), then I tried to use it again for JUST 1-3 MINUTES PER DAY; and BOOM! Within an hour, my Ankle pain was back, both Ankles, in the same spots. What's so frustrating is: IF there was just another 1-2 adjustments (OR if the Ankle padding were better designed) this could very easily be avoided. For example, if the horizontal bar supporting the BOTTOM Ankle pads had an adjustment to raise it just a few inches higher, it would be perfect. "Adjustability" of the Bottom Ankle pads is near useless because it "un-adjusts" as you go in to inversion. Best workaround to date I've come up with to avoid Ankle injury is to NOT follow the instructions (obviously you must be extremely careful in doing this); but basically DO NOT lower the TOP Ankle pads all the way. I wouldn't recommend going past 45 deg when doing this... and usually I hold the side bars as an extra precaution; but this is NOT ideal because I cannot get full relaxation of the back muscles nor do I feel comfortable going to my sweet spot (60 degrees inversion). Since I am getting some usability out of the machine, I've given it 2 stars. Otherwise, I'd be returning it.

Before my Teeter Inversion table I suffered everyday with lower back and neck pain and had limited activity. After using the table twice a day for just a few weeks I was working on my car again and hunting and fishing. My body was finally getting a good night's sleep. I wish I knew about this years ago instead of taking pain meds and avoiding another useless surgery. I have never felt better for as long as I can remember. In fact my physical health has improved so immensely that I have also purchased TEETERS FREE STEP LT3 to further improve my physical condition and become even more active and lose some weight. At 68 years old I feel great. The coaching videos and customer service are nothing less than outstanding. Thank you TEETER for helping me get my life back.

I bought a Teeter inversion table 5 years ago and was using it to stretch after a long walk/jog. I gave the inversion table away to a family member when I moved to California from Texas. I bought a cheaper version from Amazon as a replacement but it was not well-built so I barely used it. (I ended up donating it.) I recently started working out a lot more and injured myself with an inflamed glute which caused sciatic pain. I went to urgent care and was prescribed muscle relaxers and Motrin for pain and was advised on what stretches I needed to do on a daily basis. During that time, I thought about how having an inversion table could have helped prevent this kind of injury, so I ended up buying the Teeter Fitspine. During that time, I thought about how having an inversion table could have helped prevent this kind of injury, so I ended up buying the Teeter Fitspine. It was easy to put together and I have been using it almost every day when I need a good stretch. (I have to admit the newer Teeter inversion table is better than the first one I used.) On the first use, I felt a small pop and I was like "Ohh". It felt good. Stretching is a daily routine now for me and having an inversion table is a good way to stretch the spine. I think the inversion table is a necessity and everyone should own one, even if they are sedentary.
A few years ago I was having back trouble, pain and partial disability almost all day every day, sometimes escalating to temporary but acute pain and disability. I was diagnosed by x-ray with "significant degenerative disc disease."Initially I asked my orthopedist about the advisability of buying an inversion table, and my understanding of the answer was that it was reported to have helped some individuals, but not others, and that each person basically had to try it for themselves. I followed through because I was suffering daily and at constant risk of much worse. Looking for quality and reputation, I purchased a Teeter inversion table. For about a year I experienced very modest benefits from using it. I followed through because I was suffering daily and at constant risk of much worse. Looking for quality and reputation, I purchased a Teeter inversion table. For about a year I experienced very modest benefits from using it. But at one point I chanced upon the idea of using it for a few minutes each night just before getting into bed and lying down for the night. The results of that strategy have been truly amazing and life-altering. Instead of decompressing my spine for five minutes at a time, I end up decompressing my spine for five minutes and eight hours by morning. That strategy has made a huge difference for me! I cannot overstate what an enormous relief and improvement it has meant for my everyday living and activities! Nowadays I almost never have any back trouble.I am writing to share what has worked so well for me in hopes that you may pass the strategy along to any others who may also benefit. In addition to your website visitors and colleagues, you may have some avenue by which to recommend a rigorous scientific and medical study at some university or hospital that researches such issues, allowing the possibility of publication if documented to be widely beneficial. Thank you!
Before Teeter, my lower back and hip pain continued to worsen by the time I turned 65. Some days, I was barely able to walk. I tried everything to relieve the pain, including an electric heat pad, stretching, laying flat on my cold tile floor, and over the counter pain meds. Nothing worked. When I saw my my Teeter commercial on TV I was intrigued by Mr. Teeterās personal testimony of back pain, which led him to apply his knowledge and experience as an Aerospace Engineer to design and develop the Teeter Fitspine inversion table. The testimonies from many satisfied customers strengthened my belief that the Fitspine really does what it is advertised to do.Soon after turning 65, my wife and I decided that it was time to give the Teeter Fitspine a try. The testimonies from many satisfied customers strengthened my belief that the Fitspine really does what it is advertised to do.Soon after turning 65, my wife and I decided that it was time to give the Teeter Fitspine a try. So, I purchased my Fitspine LX9 directly from Teeter, which offered the best price with free shipping. The shipping process enabled me to track my shipment all the way from Washington state to Florida to arrive precisely on schedule. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. I assembled my LX9 by myself in one hour. The instructions, plus the excellent videos available on the Teeter Move app, helped me decide which settings were best for me to use as a beginner and to achieve the perfect balance I needed for my height and weight.I started out slowly, closely following Rylie Teeterās wonderfully helpful videos on the Teeter Move app. Within a few days I had experienced noticeable back an hip pain relief. By Week 3, I had advanced to to very comfortable and relaxing full inversion and absolutely ZERO back and hip pain!I eagerly look forward to my daily Fitspine sessions. Just like Harold Teeter says in the commercials, āTeeter saved my life!ā I am eternally grateful to Mr. Teeter, Rylie Teeter, and the entire Teeter Team! A mere āThank youā does not adequately express my sincere appreciation for all you do to make your superior quality products available to the world. But, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
I bought the teeter for three reasons. First is, I recently developed sciatica and considered if it might help. When I got a physical, the Dr suggested something like the teeter for improved blood flow to the brain to stave off potential Alzheimerās or dementia. Iāve been using the Teeter for about a month now. Iām not going to say my improvement in my sciatica is positively attributed to the Teeter but it is considerably better and Iām not doing anything else different.Using this machine just feels good! I expected to just invert but every level of inverting from horizontal to full inverting has its own level of comfort and satisfaction. I particularly enjoy rocking at different degrees of inversion. There is almost an addiction to using this. Iām wondering if it is that aspect of increased blood flow to the brain. Iām surprised that there isnāt more of that uncomfortable feeling that my head is going to explode from all that blood going to my head. Probably because I gradually invert and rock some before spending more time fully inverted. Now for my somewhat negative experience. The ankle mechanism that you hang by hurts my left ankle. Itās a bone that evidently protrudes more and causes me occasional pain. I say this to warn that different people may experience different comfort levels using this. My wife is not using it because she experiences pain in her ankles from the support mechanism likely because of her lymphatic problem. She also doesnāt enjoy the sensation of being upside down. It makes her feel out of control. The design of this Teeter really does give you excellent control of your rate of inversion. Our original intent was to try this out and likely move it to the basement. As often as I use it, I donāt foresee moving it out of the front room corner anytime soon much to the dismay of my wife. Fortunately this is not an unattractive piece of furniture. All in all, Iām super happy with this purchase.
Male, 65 years old. Purchased my Teeter about one month ago. For me 15-30 minutes a day is providing me with 150% results and allowing me to return to a somewhat active lifestyle again.Regarding the financial aspect of this product, I did purchase the equipment on sale, but due to the results, I am thinking about reducing the frequency of my monthly scheduled chiropractor visits. This could offset my initial cost for the product in a year or two.My gratitude to the Teeter organization for making this a win-win situation for me personally.
The inversion table definitely reverses compression in the spinal column and relieves pressure on nerves especially associated with pain due to sciatica and muscle tension and related pain in other areas of my back. Extreme pain in my left shoulder blade and from right side rib damage in my youth is being relieved. Low back pain from a chiropractor error twelve years ago is being relieved as well. I have overdone inversion time and am very gradually increasing my inversion time. Also I am gradually increasing the inversion angle. Get started with a person standing by just in case your initial balance point settings donāt allow you to easily rotate back up. Get started with a person standing by just in case your initial balance point settings donāt allow you to easily rotate back up. I needed time to regain flexibility in raising my arms overhead to get the inversion rotation started. I also have a bubble gut that was countering my arm weight. When I was inverted my bubble gut slid toward my rib cage preventing me from rotating to the upright position. I used some very light wrist weights to give enough counterbalance weight to invert and then to return to upright. My son was standing by to make sure I did not get stuck. I now have practiced enough to use the Teeter on my own. I am a mechanical engineer and have a tendency to skip over directions. Definitely follow directions especially in relation to the balance point settings. Some suggestions: 1) the low back arch plate needs to be more flexible and longer to allow for a more gentle arch under the low back; 2) advise to not over tighten the ankle restraint otherwise it may be to tight to allow wiggle room to press the release button; 3) I would like to see a softer and lower in height Fit Spine Posture Restore cushions; 4) I would like to have adjustment from upright to horizontal; 5) would be great to lock and unlock the incline position so that sit up type motion or other torso lifting motion and exercise could be done on the LX 9 or other Teeter platforms.
After many doctor visits and telling me you have spinal stenosis, herniated disks and sciatica you need shots. I decided to look elsewhere. I spoke to a Chiropractor who wanted me to purchase a contract for decompression of my spine. I googled decompression, and TEETER came up. I read all the reviews and instructions. I purchased the TEETER FitSpine LX9 Inversion Table on the TEETER website in April 2023. I also took advantage of the Zoom meeting you can get to show you how it works and ask questions to a live person. The quality and build are awesome and the details to put it together aren't hard. I use it 2-3 times a day. I am now on 20% - 40% inversion. I have noticed a nice improvement. I can walk farther, I can stand longer and the pain is almost gone.
