I have been particularly interested to jump on the air fryer bandwagon and it's been a great experience to use the Tefal Easy Fry Deluxe XXL Air Fryer this week. I used it for 4 out of 5 dinners during the working week (chicken kiev, crumber fish and chips, sweet n sour pork spare ribs, lamb roast) as well as cooking kale chips for a snack on the weekend. Firstly, the size of the fryer is fantastic for our family of 4, I would hate to use anything smaller. It easily fits 4-6 portions of your protein of choice, and I also tried to cheat and sometimes cook a side in the fryer at the same time. However the sacrifice is that a decent area of kitchen bench space is required, which is something I do not have a lot of in my galley kitchen. Very easy to use, so time efficient and saves a lot of cooking time for simple things. Couldn’t imagine my life without one of these now. The draw is big enough to do roast chickens and smaller lamb roast. Great size for families however still easy enough to use for smaller meals . Trusty brand looking forward to experimenting some more into the future

Excellent appliance. Only pain point is the lack of instructions on how to cook different items. The preset functions are fine but it is a bit of a trial and error game to get used to. You sort of have to get out of your traditional oven mentality and timings. An onion will be a a piece of charcoal after 5 mins. Overall I am loving this - it's probably the revelation of a generation, like the microwave would have been when it was first launched. The best bit is how easy it is to clean afterwards.

It operates with a range of pre-settings for different foods but no instructions as to how each setting operates or how to use it. After searching on line, I found the same manual but no other support on how to cook different foods......except chips! It does have a spacious cooking basket which makes it ideal for a smaller family. At the moment I am trying with 'hit and miss' strategies from Youtube to see how different foods turn out. This product could be quite a good addition to the average family house hold with the right support. One of the best kitchen purchases we’ve made! Definitely recommend. Huge. Easily fits a whole 1kg bag of frozen chips. Finally can cook a family size amount of food at once. Massive time saver, no longer have to cook a meal in stages. You’ll need a decent amount of bench space or a large cupboard to store it. Cooks far more evenly than previous air fryers we’ve owned. It cooks food brilliantly! Airflow is excellent, we’re really impressed at this. The powerful fan means it puts out a lot of heat from the exhaust at the rear as a result. Love the rubber stops on the basket tray. Great when you’re tipping your food out, the tray grips onto the edges of the basket and will not easily slip out. Stops the hot tray falling onto the food and possibly burning you. Brought at after Christmas sales, cracker deal. Excellent value at sale price.
I got it from 2020. If you want to have healthy food but addicting to fry foods this is best option you need to have. I used it multiple times a day. With touch screen and digital programs, easy to know our purpose cook, I rarely used oil ( almost didn't use oil) when I use tefal air fryer for my fry food. It's extremely crispy and no oily at all. I also try to bake a cake with it and good results with sponge cake. For re-heat pizza, it was too firm when I do with microwave but with Tefal Air fryer only 4 mins it was like the new bake pizza. It's impossible easier when you have Tefal fryer in kitchen. Tend to get the new upgrade from Tefal too. Negative: fryer rack is a bit hard to clean. I only used sponge to clean but It still peeling off non-stick paint on the rack.
Very good. Roomy enough to be able to cook a decent amount in one go, and not have to do multiple runs for 2-3 people. Easy to use, although the preset selections require cycling through using the chef button, which seems counterintuitive considering the set up of the buttons. The construction feels very solid, and Tefal’s signature non-stick coating inside makes it very easy to clean. Overall an excellent appliance, and definitely value for money if you manage to get it on sale.

It cooks well. I’m still learning how to use it. The instructions are pitiful. I found some properly-written instructions for a similar Tegal model online, so I printed them out. It lacked any accessories - so I had to fork-out for a bundle of those as well, and a cookbook too. So far it’s worked well.
