this is taking a bit of getting used to but i think it will be a good replacement to my actifry. the big problem was the instructions, they just were not that clear. i’m still a bit unclear how to use the presets. i’m getting used to it but out of the box it wasn’t too easy.the grill plate is very useful and i think i will use it for cooking most things.this air fryer is quite loud, i was surprised, but not unbearable.time will tell if it lasts. tefal seem to be doing some good work on fixing machines and having parts available etc. there is too much waste in this world, noone wants to fix anything anymore. well that should change, make products to last, not cheap throwaway items.

The tefal airfryer has been a very good buy. I have used it few times to air fry frozen chips potatoe wedges and even veg pie. The pie air fry time was timesaver. Saves time almost by half and looks a lot healthier. Need to still figure out timings for how long need to cook in. The good thing is you can open it and check on food anytime and continue air frying. Overall the container is easy to clean. Need to try the grill function and try air frying other foods. I’m happy with this purchase.

Sausages brushed with the finest oil 2 red onions with a tiny drizzle of oil cooked on meat setting perfect! Even cooking and browning onion roasted and with caramelisation. Turn and jiggle half way through. Cooked one and half cycles 12 minutes in total but I like well cooked sausages. Home made chips - par boil (6 mins in microwave first) toss in oil and home made chips in 20 minutes. In oil it would have been 30-40 good looking and simple too.

I was a huge fan of the actifry. had one for around 8 years, used regularly. sadly it eventually broke and knew I wanted Tefal again due to the amount of use it had. I was a bit sceptical about buying this type, I never really used the padel action for stirfrys and sauces etc so made sense to go for this easyfry style and I do not regret it. Iv done chips, kebabs, wings, garlic bread, whole chicken, roasties, and only had it a week. its completely replaced our oven over the last week and only need to turn it on again if we have large pizzas or an oven full of stuff. I am just masively impressed by everything thats come out of it.
If you live alone or just got two of you then this is great. So much more cost effective than having to preheat an Oven for something small and the grill works a treat. Huge cut down on time without waiting for heat to build up so haven’t used my Oven for two weeks. My only criticism is that there is virtually no cooking instructions, only pictures and I can’t find any useful details to print up from Computer. I still haven’t worked out how to use it manually for things not on ‘program list’ but as it cooks so fast, I’m around to keep checking. Definitely recommend this now gas/electric has gone up SO much.
This is the first Air Fryer that I have used and I was reslly disappointed with the instruction leaflet. It was no use at all. I have had to go online to get any useful information. However the Air Fryer and Grill is very easy to use and gives good results. It is taking me a while to get timings right but I am enjoying trying different things. It is a good size for 2 people and very easy to clean even though you cant put it in the dishwasher. The grill works well but I can only grill 3 rashers of bacon at a time. Love the fact that the kitchen has less cooking smells and smoke.
This is only my personal opinion and others may feel totally different but so far I haven’t quite mastered this little baby, even with basic chips I’m getting this wrong! As per the instructions I cut 2 Uncle Morris (my favourite uncle) piper potatoes which were sliced into 8x8mm chip perfection ( I know because I used a micrometer). I then used the failsafe settings for chips which funny enough is icon of chips so what can go wrong? I rinsed the cut chips and washed away the starchy substance and dried and covered with Saint Maria oil (extra virgin). So after what turned out to be 25 minutes of occasional professional shaking (don’t laugh my father had a chip wagon so I was trained up). Nice looking piece of kit but might have benefited from a basket. Very little information provided with it. No idea of wattage and no information as to whether the trivet(?) and basket are dishwasher safe.Not everyone has a smartphone to access details and recipes. Better printed information would cost only a penny or two.If the trivet(?) is fully covered with a single layer of food, only the top of the food is roasted as it relies on gaps in the trivet to pass hot air through to cook the underside. I guess the empty fryer would need to be pre-heated to produce "barbecue" lines on a steak - to be experimented with!Like most Tefal kit with motors, fans etc. it's not exactly quiet!
Great addition to my kitchen equipment. I us it for cakes, vegetables, and meats. The inner grill tray (removable) is made from good quality materials and should last longer than some I have seen. The digital timer is very accurate (better than a clockwork one), and enables precise cooking times. The fact that it is backed by a 2yr guarantee and a 10year repair warranty shows the backing of a good company and service facilities. Obviously this is reflected in the quality of the machine and its retail price. The only slight drawback is it is a little noisy (fan noise when cooking) but hey that is more than acceptable given the quality of the product. I would thoroughly recommend this as a single drawer air fryer
