Tefal IXEO Plus All in One Solution Garment Steamer QT1510

The total product is absolutely brilliant.Easy to use, and delivers what is promises and what it was designed to do.Would’ve rated it 5 stars but it has one small flaw which was a bit disappointing. The iron holder has a small plastic clip to keep it in place to the mounting arm. After two uses the clip broke making the holder useless.Really not properly designed. Small detail but makes it just less than perfect.

Awesome multifunctional solution

The IXEO Plus is really versatile and can be used as both a steamer and an iron. This makes it very convenient for me as I don't need to switch between tools when I'm ironing my clothes.It heats up quickly, so I don't need to wait too long before I can start using it.The water tank is large enough to hold a decent amount of water, so I don't need to refill it too frequently.It's easy to use and the controls are simple to understand.The steam output is powerful and helps to remove wrinkles from my clothes easily.

First steam Iron

The Tefal IXEO Plus QT1510 is the first steam iron that I have used. The assembling of the iron board and stand was straight forward and no tools were needed.Using the steam iron for the first time was simple and pretty effective. I did take me approx a week to get used to using it for my work clothes. My wife also has used it as a portable steam iron for bed sheets and Doona and it worked great. It was easy to move to different room and sit on the floor next to the bed.The only downfall of using the steam iron is that the cord to the iron can get quite hot for kids hands.I would recommend using this steam iron for everyday use and throw out the tradition iron and ironing board.

Jack of all trades and master of none.

Pros:Easy to set up.Gets the job done.Cons:Vert expensive considering there are cheaper alternatives that does a better job.Loud.Weak.Verdict:For all of the features that comes with it. None of them stood out and was rather lackluster and disappointing.

Love it!

Loved it! While a massive fan of how easy it is to steam clothes with this, I also love that it can be use as a way to clean fabric also. I used this both to steam iron my clothes, as well as do a quick once over with my couch. The adjustable height of the Tefal IXEO was great for my back as I didn’t have bend over or put myself in an awkward position to reach a point too low or too tall. Having it as a dual steamer/iron is a great idea, and a space saver since I don’t need to house both an iron, ironing board and a steamer. I don’t know why but being able iron/steam at the same time makes my clothes somehow feel cleaner, and looks amazing even though it’s just being hung up. Definitely recommend!

Makes ironing so much easier

I researched so many different steamers and was drawn to this one due to the reviews. I was under no false illusion that steaming is quite different to ironing, so if you can get your head around that you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I must admit though, I do use the bench backing flat for majority of items. I find I do get a better result. Big water container is beneficial. Heats up quick and the light steaming end is light weight. Loving my purchase. In probably the middle price range too, but I got it on sale! So winning!

Perfect solution

I'd never even contemplated a steaming system before and am so glad a lack of space forced me to look at this ironing solution. It takes a bit of getting used to, especially adjusting the height - I have some very tall people in my house - but I'm finding it worth the effort. I love how it heats up so quickly and is ready to use in a flash. I'm sure as the weeks go by it will become second nature. So far, sooooo good.

Second hand used product !

Disappointing! David Jones sent a used steamer to me, the water tank has water vapour on it , so obviously it had been used before. I did not expect David Jones to be unscrupulous to sell a used product instead of a new product ! I asked for compensation and they refused to honour it. If I wanted a second used product , I will buy it from gGumtree and pay much less for it!

Tefal IXEO Plus

Tefal IXEO Plus QT1510

I was eager to try this steam iron and it didn't disappoint, I'll be able to throw out my old iron that spits water.The unit was really easy to assemble, poles pop into the base and clips together. It has some cool tools to get an effective steam. Most importantly you have more options to reach a perfect ergonomic height/slant to get through the huge pile of laundry. It is fairly compact in comparison to the old ironing board. Which was surprising because the box was huge.The system isn't too heavy and the iron/steamer itself is lightweight it made it so easy to steam shirts and dresses on the stand. But it is movable too, so I've been able to steam the fabric couch, the car seats, curtains and bed linens too.
