SO much lag it'll literally drive you insane. The fingerprint never works until you restart your phone. I only get decent pictures in snapchat. Battery life isn't anything to brag about. The charger it comes with is a fast charging one & it really does charge fast. When trying to change over to another app the phone likes to completely lock up & shut down & take forever to restart. If you are on anything you can't answer a call because it'll freeze. You can't answer a text because it'll close up everything. It only still lives because I can't afford a new phone yet, but my sanity won't last much longer.

this is an embarrassment of a phone. got it as an upgrade and soon realized this phone fails to do basic tasks without lagging. even for it's low price, this product is NOT worth it. the camera is so atrocious that I'm forced to use flash to take a simple picture. whenever i need to take a picture for someone, i have to spend so much time just for the picture to end up looking horrible. This is my first Samsung phone and I'm very disappointed. I got it during covid when money was tight and needed something affordable, but I've honestly had cheaper phones that were better. I had always had LG before this and every one of those phones was better than this. For a phone with three cameras, the quality looks like something out of the early 2000's. The shutter speed is strangely slow and half the time I try to take pictures they are just a blur and I don't get to capture the moment. Also the front camera has a weird distorted zoom and everything is really zoomed in even when you don't want it to be. The fingerprint sensor never works and half the time it doesn't even give me an option to scan my fingerprint unless I restart it twice a day. ... MoreThis is my first Samsung phone and I'm very disappointed. There are probably many other problems that aren't coming to mind right now, but it's just really a pathetic excuse for a phone and I hate it.

Not Samsung's best phone
22 December 2021

This phone has some good things and bad things going on with it.On the good side, it's a Samsung so it's relatively fast and responsive especially at it's price point. The battery life is the best you're going to get under $200. The battery last 4-5 days when being used lightly. Facial recognition always worked like it was supposed to and the cameras are very high quality for the price point. The bad - It's construction is not robust at all. As a matter of fact this is one of the most fragile phones I've ever owned. It lasted a day before the screen cracked and a month before the digitizer went out and is no longer usable. I've never had a phone break so quickly and easily. An Otter box or some other case and a screen protector is absolutely necessary or this phone ... MoreThis phone has some good things and bad things going on with it.On the good side, it's a Samsung so it's relatively fast and responsive especially at it's price point. Not a great phone

I had this phone for a little over a year. When I first got it in Jan 2022 it was okay but 2 days later I was making videos on that phone and the sound was terrible. I cant believe I had to go thru all of that back then. The Samsung galaxy J3 emerge 2017 had really good sound quality when you take videos. I really missed it. I still have it and sometimes I would just record on that phone and ditch the A11. Also it got really slow the first few months I had it and I had to deal with that for a long time and it started driving me crazy. I also had a Samsung galaxy A10e in August 2020 and then I got the A11. the sound quality when you take videos on Samsung galaxy A10e was better then the A11 but J3 Emerge was even better then the both of them. Thats basically everything about my experiences of the Samsung A11.

OK but not really.

It's OK for a starter phone by Samsung. But honestly as a long time Android user this phone is low quality in comparison to other Samsung products. My honest opinion which doesn't have to be anyone else's is this easily gets a 2/5 rating.

Android 12 saved this phone... I didn't have it for a while (Android 10 or 11... I forget now). With 12 this phone seems to run faster and is easier to use, in fact I was excited to get the update. Now although that is good, there are definitely flaws that make this irritating but cheap:● Slow● Glitchy (especially auto-rotate)● Camera is laggy● Apps and widgets load slowly on turn-onBut I get that that's why this is so cheap... because it's not great. After Android 12 there will be no more updates for this phone, except maybe a few security related ones, and I'm fine with that. I won't get this phone again, but I won't hate on it so obsessively like the past. Wish I could review this 2.5/5, but 3 will do since I it's not that bad if you're just looking to be ... MoreAndroid 12 saved this phone... I didn't have it for a while (Android 10 or 11... So many glitches
8 September 2021

This was my first experience with Samsung and yikes! I have never had a phone with this many glitches during its entire life span and I've only had this thing for 2 weeks! I love that it charges super fast but that also causes the charger to get really hot. There's no way I would leave this thing charging unattended or overnight. The phone itself also gets really hot really fast. When I watch video, I have to make sure plenty of air is getting to the back of the phone to keep it from overheating. And then there is the fact that you can't actually use the phone while it's charging. It goes into "network unavailable" mode when you plug it up. Doesn't matter the location. The phone has to be completely restarted to get it unstuck. Lastly, I get some sort of staticky feedback from the speaker when using voice dictation and when hitting the send button. There are other quirks but I'm not trying to write a book on it. I wish I could say that I was looking forward to seeing what the next couple weeks hold. Frankly, I'm wishing I would have gone for the Moto G instead.

The Samsung Galaxy A11 is not a bad phone for the price , granted it's not a powerhouse like the higher up Galaxy series , but it does everyday tasks , clear voice calls , speaker feature works good , the cameras are good for the price paid for the phone . For a cheap Budget phone is say go for it . The battery life is surprisingly good I get about a day and a half use before I have to charge it . I'm impressed and surprised how well this phone functions in comparison to a $1.999 phone, the screen is not as defined as my s21 ultra but for $80.00 Entry level phone this A11 phone does pretty ... MoreThe Samsung Galaxy A11 is not a bad phone for the price , granted it's not a powerhouse like the higher up Galaxy series , but it does everyday tasks , clear voice calls , speaker feature works good , the cameras are good for the price paid for the phone . As long as you don't attempt to over work the phone and push it to do a million things at a time it works great . I definitely recommend buying this phone to anyone who wants a good quality phone for just a little bit of money . I've dropped this phone 4 times (I'm an auto mechanic so I'm hard on phones) this phone hasn't even chipped .

there's not a lot of good things i can say about this phone, so I'll start with that. his phone is super durable. rival to the galaxy s3. ive dropped it multiple times over multiple places with just a standard case and a tempered glass and only the tempered glass has a few small spidercracks in it. the display is large and there's multiple sizes of lettering, perfect for those that need larger lettering, storage is very large so I've been able to download multiple apps without a thought of running out. camera isn't the greatest for videos but the product from still photos are great. on the other hand the operating system is so slow. it can be hard to actually take a photo when pressing the button if you're taking photos of a moving target, because the system won't ... Morethere's not a lot of good things i can say about this phone, so I'll start with that. his phone is super durable. rival to the galaxy s3. ive dropped it multiple times over multiple places with just a standard case and a tempered glass and only the tempered glass has a few small spidercracks in it. the display is large and there's multiple sizes of lettering, perfect for those that need larger lettering, storage is very large so I've been able to download multiple apps without a thought of running out. camera isn't the greatest for videos but the product from still photos are great. on the other hand the operating system is so slow. it can be hard to actually take a photo when pressing the button if you're taking photos of a moving target, because the system won't let the screen refresh enough to see what your taking pictures of. 99% of the time i don't get my voicemail notifications until i go manually refresh the app. my service used to be full all the time when i had my lg stylo 4
