This pillow is truly the pinnacle of memory pillow experiences!I had my last Tempur-Pedic pillow gifted to me back in 2005 and used it almost every night until I bought a new one only a few weeks ago. That's right, almost 20 years with one pillow! That's over 6,700 nights, over 45,000 hours of sleep. To think of all the dreams I've dreamt on a Tempur-Pedic pillow...Over the years, I've faithfully kept it clean and protected in a variety of third-party protective pillow cases and, aside from the expected wear and tear of almost two decades, it's still in great shape. It has always been comfortable and I got great sleep on it until the last night I used it when I switched it out for a new one.The pillow is both firm and soft in all the right areas, reacting to ... It has always been comfortable and I got great sleep on it until the last night I used it when I switched it out for a new one.The pillow is both firm and soft in all the right areas, reacting to the pressure from your body to adjust and conform, gently cradling your head in almost any position. It's luxuriously soft while still being supportive, leaving no unnecessary strain on the neck or shoulders and never needing fluffing. The contours of the pillow are perfect for all sleeping positions and can be flipped around and adjusted for optimal support. The material seems to never lose its resiliency and can be folded or bunched up like a normal pillow without really affecting the material, although the need to do that with these pillows is almost non-existent! For those who like a little more elevation when sleeping, the pillow can also easily be slipped into any pillow case with another plush pillow to provide a bit of a different experience. The protective case that comes included removes easily for washing and the pillow material has no smell to "gas off" like other cheaper memory foam products, although care is required when washing the case to avoid damaging the protective lining. Although not necessary, to ensure the longevity of the pillow, I recommend using a cheap protective pillow case.Besides the pillow, I also have a Tempur-Pedic office chair that I've been using for about 6 years and previously used a Tempur-Pedic bed as well. I trust the quality, durability, and comfort of these products, so replacing my old pillow with a new one was a no-brainer. With the same regular care and cleaning, I fully expect to be sleeping on this pillow well into the next 10 years, if not longer!

Why am I writing a review for a pillow? Because I feel cheated by Tempurpedic. My recent customer experience with them has been extremely disappointing. Yes, I bought this neck pillow and despite carefully measuring to their guidelines, the pillow turned out to be nothing like what I expected. It fails to provide adequate support for my neck and shoulders, making it extremely uncomfortable to use. It's really small and the firmness of the pillow is another major issue for me. It feels incredibly firm, almost like laying my head on a brick. What truly heightened my disappointment was Tempurpedic's customer service and return policy. I wish they would have made it way more obvious that was the case with pillows before I bought it, otherwise, I would have thought about it twice before paying so much money for this pillow. Is the return policy on their page? YES IT IS. Did I see it? NO I DIDN'T...but...does anyone???? The reason given, as relayed by their "highest" customer service representative, was baffling-something about recycling concerns, which seems arbitrary and inconsistent given that they can recycle a giant mattress but not a small pillow...that comes with a removable AND washable cover....so so strange...This experience has left me feeling undervalued and cheated as a customer. It's evident that Tempurpedic's priority lies more in maintaining their policies, than ensuring customer satisfaction. Their response to my concerns reflects a lack of commitment to their customers' well-being and a high commitment to absurd pillow policy. I am now out a high amount of money, but Tempurpedic continues without a care in the world about my issues...why would they? I already paid them.I truly am deeply disappointed with both the Tempurpedic neck pillow and their customer service. I regret it so so much...I would advise against purchasing this product and would caution others against doing so unless they are certain it will meet their expectations. Tempurpedic's unwillingness to accommodate a dissatisfied customer like myself has tarnished my impression of their brand and has ensured that I will never purchase a single product from them ever again.

Buyer Beware, Do not purchase from TempurPedic. First of all, the advertising about how superior their mattresses are is just that, advertising. Second of all, take a few minutes to read my rather long review before you make any decision, it will be worth your time.I bought one of their mattresses many years ago through a local store, and at a cost of around $3,000.00 I was looking forward to how much I would love it, and I trusted that it would stay comfortable for many years. I was at that time rather thin, and I was the only person to use the mattress, so its rapid deterioration was no fault of my own.My second and last experience with TempurPedic was less costly but ... I purchased one of their neck pillows thinking that it would help my neck and shoulders tension. Unfortunately after trying the pillow for about 5 minutes upon its receipt, I realized that it would be impossible to have a comfortable night sleep while using it. I therefore immediately started a return procedure, only to discover that TempurPedic does not accept any pillow to be returned! I am guilty of not checking their return policies before my purchase because, one more time, I fully trusted their company. The infuriating thing is that the pillow is absolutely in pristine condition, having been used only for a 5 minutes trial while protected by a clean pillowcase. Meanwhile their return policy for their mattresses is a 90 days trial period, after which you can return the mattress if not fully satisfied! So, they will take back a used mattress that people have been rolling around on for three months, but not a perfectly clean pillow used for a few minutes! I shudder to think of those poor unsuspecting customers who purchase a TempurPedic mattress without realizing that it might have been used by someone else for three months! It is disgraceful and dishonest.I will never trust that company again, I found out the hard way that they are despicable and totally untrustworthy.

I am a side sleeper. I like taller, firmer pillows, with good support so I thought this one would be a good fit. I measured myself according to the size chart, and my shoulder measurement was 7"-- so, side sleeper above 6", so I got the large. I received the package and lay down briefly on the pillow with the pillow still in the plastic packaging. I could tell it wasn't going to work, and wrote the company to inquire about a return because I hadn't opened the pillow packaging. They denied the request, citing they "are a zero waste company" (hard to understand given the pillow arrives wrapped in plastic). So even though I measured correctly and according to their chart I ordered the right size, the pillow was not a good fit and now I'm stuck with a very expensive ... MoreI am a side sleeper. They denied the request, citing they "are a zero waste company" (hard to understand given the pillow arrives wrapped in plastic). So even though I measured correctly and according to their chart I ordered the right size, the pillow was not a good fit and now I'm stuck with a very expensive pillow I really don't like. I would not recommend ordering online unless you have tried and sized the pillow first in person. Now to review the pillow:For me sleeping on my side, the large bulge hits my jaw while the top of my head hits the depression in the pillow. This torques my head much further out of alignment than a regular pillow would, making my head cock to one side. The foam is firm enough that the large bulge doesn't collapse sufficiently to allow comfortable side sleeping posture. I'm a large male and have a regular size head for my body, so it's not like I have a tiny light head that can't push the foam down. Look at the profile of the pillow and imagine how that would be a good side sleeper support--the top of your head is going to tip down and push your head/spine out of alignment. Maybe you're a back sleeper, which is what this pillow is really meant for. How is your shoulder broadness going to predict the height of the large bulge that's going to work for your anatomy? That's more a factor of your neck length and how far forward you like your head to be while you sleep. Try this pillow in person first. Do not order from the website.
I was excited to try this pillow and just as enthused when I opened it up upon delivery. The pillow construction and material is lovely and seems to be of great quality. I personally like a pillow that is a little firmer, so I thought this one would be right up my alley. Unfortunately, the sleep I had using this pillow was some of the worst that I have had. I am generally a side or stomach sleeper but as I am getting older have tried to train my body to sleep on my back. With this pillow, no matter the position I tried, none produced a comfortable sleep. I fount this pillow to be a bit too thick or overstuffed for my body. When lying on my back this created a sharp bend in my neck with my chin almost touching my chest. Because this is a firm pillow, there was no give to allow my head to sink into a comfortable position. The same can be said for a side sleeping position. The pillow was too tall for comfortable head to neck to body and would cause a kink in my neck when using for long periods of time. As for stomach sleeping, this was impossible as it caused my neck to crane back so far my back was almost arched.I really wanted to love this pillow and might have if it was a bit thinner. Unfortunately because of density and thickness, its proportions just did not match the needs of my body.
In 1999 we purchased our first Tempur-Pedic contour pillows (and bed) and loved them. 2023 time for a renewal. We decided to try out some natural latex pillows in an effort to be more eco-friendly in our purchase. We went through three natural latex contour pillows and found each of them gave "push back" to your head, straining your neck and back (ouch). We were able to return and get a refund of our money in each case, so that was ok. We decided to revisit Tempur-Pedic again and went to the local store, only to find they only sold ones with gel inside to keep your head cool. We live in the north and don't need help keeping cool especially in winter. So I went online to the Tempur-Pedic website and found the "Original Contour Pillow". We took the measurements they ... We decided to revisit Tempur-Pedic again and went to the local store, only to find they only sold ones with gel inside to keep your head cool. We live in the north and don't need help keeping cool especially in winter. So I went online to the Tempur-Pedic website and found the "Original Contour Pillow". We took the measurements they instructed and purchased 2 medium pillows. They arrived promptly. Packed in a shrink plastic, I took it out of the box and tried it out (plastic still on). It felt great. I took it out of the plastic and poof it got bigger (higher loft). We shared the pillow for a week each and both found it to be supportive but it is very firm and hurts your ear when lying on your side. As for lying on your back, again it is too firm and causes my head to feel pulled all the way down to my mid back. The shape is excellent but the hardness is certainly not. It is not like the original pillows (as advertised) we had from 1999, in the least. I knew Tempur-Pedic did not offer a return policy but tried calling to see if we could return the unopened one that still sits in the living room. The answer was no. I thought that to be rather unreasonable being it is completely untouched - still in the box. I would not recommend Tempur-Pedic to anyone based on that, and how uncomfortable the pillow actually is. Alas, my search for a soft yet supportive contour pillow, still goes on (is that really to much to ask for?)
I know that these are non-returnable, but I'd still like a refund. This pillow is almost a scam, playing off the old name. It is NOT the same material, it is not "memory foam," it's a dense polyurethane foam, but not of the same quality as they used to be and much too hard to sleep on. I bought two because it was a good deal, but in the end I'm probably only going to be able to salvage the pillow cases to replace my old one which was starting to fail. Luckily I didn't throw out my old pillow before I tested the "new" ones. They look exactly the same, but they are not. The pillow cases haven't changed though, so that's good--I have spares now.And yes, I did try sitting on it for a while, heating it up with a heating pad, leaving it in the sun (which only slightly ... My old pillow isn't quite as supportive as it once was, but it was NEVER this hard. It also exhibited "memory" characteristics, which this new foam does not. It returns to it's uncompressed shape almost instantly. I suspect, but admittedly have no evidence, that cost cutting measures were taken by later leadership that compromised quality and will ultimately destroy the good name of the brand. Mergers and Acquisitions tend to do this.

However, as I unveiled the packaging, preparing for a night of unparalleled neck support, I discovered that my neck seems to possess a peculiar incompatibility with your products.Yet, I harbor no ill will towards your product, understanding that everyone's cervical preferences are unique. What truly astounded me was the zenith of business ethics reached when I brought my slightly dejected pillow to your customer service rep, requesting the return of one unopened, unused pillow - a request met with a denial based on the astonishing premise that "pillows are personal items." Kudos to you for revealing the clandestine nature of pillows; who would have thought that they transcend being mere sleep aids and assume a role of such intimate significance? While I acknowledge that my purchase does not fall into the category of consumables, undergarments, or other "close-to-body" items, the refusal to accept the return of an unopened, unused pillow is perplexing. I am left wondering if there is a secret code inscribed on your pillows, urging customers to unravel the truth of comfort through unboxing. In conclusion, I extend this cautionary note to all prospective customers contemplating a purchase from your establishment: unless you possess the courage to embark on the in-store pillow and bed trial, refrain from purchasing products from this establishment. Here, a pillow is not just a pillow; it's an adventure, a journey that promises a profound understanding of "how to correctly use the product" at every twist and turn.May your innovative ideology continue to flourish, offering more consumers the unique thrill of surprises during their shopping experiences.Sincerely,
I ordered a Tempur-Neck Pillow to help address chronic neck pain that I've had which seems to be worse first thing in the morning. I had a Tempur-Pedic pillow years ago and loved it! I have been a little disappointed with the new pillow I just received. I ordered a SMALL based on my neck to shoulder measurements using the guide (I'm 5'4" and ~115 pounds for reference with a small frame). While the contour shape fits my neck okay, the actual dimensions of the pillow are lacking. It's too small for a standard or queen size pillow case to fit on it. My queen size pillow case can practically wrap around it lengthwise twice! I guess I should have paid better attention to the dimensions of the actual pillow as I mistakenly assumed it would be a standard size with the ... I guess I should have paid better attention to the dimensions of the actual pillow as I mistakenly assumed it would be a standard size with the SMALL only relating to the shape/fit of the contoured part. As far as my sleeping & neck pain - both have been worse after about a week sleeping on the new pillow. I'm not sure if it's just going to take some time to get used to, but I'm waking several times through the night and have experienced increased muscle tightness in my cervical region. Hopefully this improves!
After being a loyal customer of Tempurpedic products throughout the years - I thought I would take advantage of their sheets and pillows sale last month. I ended up getting two sets of sheets and two pillows. Not having the advantage of seeing the product in real life, since I was shopping online, I relied on the customer service rep to assure me that I was choosing the correct neck pillow for a Queen sized bed and pillow cases. The rep even checked with a "supervisor" to let me know I should order "medium." I received the 2 pillows via UPS. When I opened the box, I could see that the pillows were not large enough to fill a Queen sized pillow case. Called customer service again - and she assured me - yes - those are the correct sheets. When I opened the box, I could see that the pillows were not large enough to fill a Queen sized pillow case. Called customer service again - and she assured me - yes - those are the correct sheets. Going along with their recommendation and direction - I placed the pillows in the queen sized pillow case - and they only filled up less than 2/3 of the pillow case. The pillows are literally swimming in the cases - not to mention, look ridiculous on a made-up bed. Once again, after going through several hoops with customer service, sending pictures, comparison shots, measurements, pictures of measurements - they informed me that this was the "correct size" and would not taking any further steps to ensure that I received a satisfactory product. I suppose the lesson that rings true through this experience is "Buyer beware!" The sheets were bad too. Had holes in them after 1 wash. If you are still inclined to buy either of these products - don't say I didn't try to warn you.
