If you check sizing before purchasing to ensure you order the correct size the pants are excellent for day and night use. Keep everything secure which results in them being comfy to wear. Easy to wash and dry and well priced. The premium pants are so much better than the standard ones so its worth the slightly higher cost and will last longer.

Choose the correct size

My waist is 34 to 35 so initially I ordered the large size and it did not work out. I have changed to the medium size and to date they are working fine. I have now started washing them and they are still working well. Time will tell once they have been washed a few times.It is important to change your pads regularly.

Couldn't be without these

I'm very incontinent following a prostatectomy. Without thsese support for my pads I don't know what I'd do. I use a waist belt on my trousers and keep the top of the pant above the belt line ensuring they never sagThey certainly don't retain there shape after washing more than half a dozen times but they still offer the support and they're cheap enough to buy more

Good product would recommend

Bought these as an extra supplement to the 5 tena pants supplied by NHS for my husband to use with tena proskin pads, also supplied by NHS. Only required for use in bed at night. Very successful. Best product tried so far. Reasonable price. Would have preferred 7 in a packet instead of 5. Pleased to have had Vat relief and free postage. Can't comment as yet on the longevity of the product. I hope it lives up to the 50 washes promised.

I've got fixated on these fixation pants for my mum!

I made the mistake of buying a cheaper Tena product for my mum online. The clue was in the name Fix Basic and it had great reviews so clearly works well for many others. But if you're caring for an elderly heavily (dual) incontinent parent the Proskin Fix are definitely the best option. Only slightly more expensive but worth it for the additional security, both around the body and the top of the legs. The others seem quite sheer compared with these and they are basic although serve a purpose. The Proskin Fixation pants are by far the best. Ensure you get the right size. Ma was initially judged by a nurse to be Medium but the Large are far more comfortable and still keep either the huge pads and the smaller ones in place nicely. Not sure which is more inconvenient, dribble or pants!

For some time I found that after peeing there was a dribble of urine down my leg. Also once or twice there was a slightly larger discharge, and also a couple of times in bed. I find the incontinence pants themselves fit well but the fixation pads easily come loose. Also the only way to pee comfortably is to drop everything. To pee round one leg of the pants, like a small boy, is a bit of a struggle. so far I have washed a pair of pants after use twice and they are as good as before. I have wondered if it might not be more comfortable if I accepted the dribble down my leg, washing my corduroys at intervals, than to use the incontinence pants. Of course things are likely to deteriorate in the future.

Secure and invisible

Have being buying Tena Fix(ation) pants for some years since my prostate operation. They are completely machine washable and perfect for holding my 'pad' (folded paper tissue) in place and give me time to find a toilet quickly. In time, I may need a proper incontinence pad but they will still be the product I will continue to use to keep me secure.

TENA FIXATION PANTS

I bought these pants online from Tena Direct. Very easy website to order from. I am a complete novice in this, my husband who has been diagnosed with dementia has suddenly become incontinent on some nights. I did get some good advice from an advisor & some free samples from Tena. I was also sent a voucher for some Tena Pants. Would certainly recommend Tena Direct & the Tena products used so far.

They do the job comfortably.

Been using these for a while now. Comfortable, discreet and easily washed and dried. I find that after about 10 hand-washes they begin to lose their ability to keep my pads in place. Apart from that they work just as intended. I know of nothing else that would do their job.
