This bag has exceeded expectations. Being six foot plus tall I went for the largest bag in the range. The above takes my Canon Full frame DSLR and the EF 24-105L, EFf2.8 16-35L, and EF70-300 IS USM, filters and prime 50mm 1.8 with ease. The weight is getting on fully loaded as the lenses are heavy glass. However the pack is comfortable and I can handle it with ease all day. Also space for water, food, clothing and a tripod as well as above!

I originally bought the 14L thinking it would be big enough, but returned it after trying to fit my gear in it. My Canon R5 with RF 70-200 2.8, 50 1.8 RF, 85 1.8 EF, and 40 EF with RF adapter all fit in the 14L but it was snug, making it kinda difficult to get the camera in and out. I like it to be quick and easy, and the 16L gave a decent amount more room, and flexibility. I like that the 16L has a waist belt, which could come in handy when you need your camera, but don't want to put the bag on ground, you can take straps off shoulders and rotate the bag to front of body and access rear camera zip area. I rarely carry a tripod, so I use that area of the bag to carry a second water bottle, a 40 once Klean Kanteen fits in there snuggly. I rarely carry a tripod, so I use that area of the bag to carry a second water bottle, a 40 once Klean Kanteen fits in there snuggly. The 40 once also fits in the mesh water bottle slot, but it's a very tight fit. Sides slots are about same size on 14L and 16L. The top section is not huge, but holds some lunch, snacks, a rain coat and extra shirt easily. I wish I could lower the base of the top section better to carry more non-camera stuff. I wish the velcro inserts were a little more adaptable, but they work pretty well for my needs. I haven't taken my MacBook with me yet, but glad you can. I tried putting my 13 MacBook pro in the 14L, it fit, but was quite tight when the bag was filled with my regular gear, and wouldn't fit with a protective sleeve over it. I use mine to take to the bike jumps, so in the front part I fit a tool roll, bike tube, small pump, phone, wallet, keys, and other small stuff. Overall, it's a pretty great bag, good for hiking or urban exploring, even comfy for short bike rides. I dig the colors and the back camera area, which I adapted some. An included rain cover would be nice for all versions. If you have a smaller Apsc or micro 4/3 set up the 10L or 14L would be good, or bigger cameras with minimal stuff to take. Otherwise the 16L is still light and small enough to not be annoying to carry around like other backpacks and camera bags have been for me.

The bag holds 2 bodies and attached lenses comfortably. I'm using it with an 7 IV with a vertical grip and 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM. In the other half, I have an 7R V with a 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II. It's comfortable enough for short hikes. The tripod pocket is well designed; both side pockets fit 1L Nalgene bottles. The buckle and strap for the rolltop can be improved. The strap material doesn't slide as well as standard backpacking straps, and the bottom ripped out already (it's still functional). The metal hook buckle looks cool, but it doesn't work as well as a FIDLOCK or standard ITW buckle. I still like this bag because it's comfortable, protective, and looks like a regular backpack.

I love my Tenba Fulton v2 10L but when I switched to the Canon R10 and got a new set of lenses, I quickly outgrew the Fulton 10L. I needed a new camera backpack and had leaned toward the Tenba Axis 20L - which is clearly a super duper camera backpack - but for what I do, I really didn't need one that extraordinary. So it was easy to decide to go two sizes up and get the Fulton v2 16L. I instantly knew what to expect and how to set it up. I had all the space and inserts I needed to store all my lenses (and one lens adapter). In addition, I have room to grow with this one with space for two more future lenses. There also is excellent space in the back portion of the backpack that will hold a sizable computer (or iPad), among other key accessories like chargers, SSD ... MoreI love my Tenba Fulton v2 10L but when I switched to the Canon R10 and got a new set of lenses, I quickly outgrew the Fulton 10L. There also is excellent space in the back portion of the backpack that will hold a sizable computer (or iPad), among other key accessories like chargers, SSD devices, among other gear. I am not one to complain about the top storage section. In fact, I love it. I like that it is easily securable and serves for the pack's extension to carry other things (like a small gimbal, snacks, a jacket, etc). At this time, I use it for my gaffer tape, DJI gimbal, DJI wireless mic, among a few other small things). Some make not like the clip that secures the top section, but I like it as it makes the section quick to open and had no problem with it on the hike. I will say that there is one seeming imperfection on this pack that has to do with the travel strap to attach to a suitcase handle. I tested it on my large suitcase and strap is level with the handle of my extender. That means I have to hold the strap and handle at the same time when I walk through and airport. This is in no way a deal breaker but people need to be aware of it before they purchase because, for some, it could be a deal breaker. Well, it's a terrific backpack! Very comfortable straps! Perfect for the outdoors! You will be satisfied with this backpack!
I'm a pro photographer in the Real Estate and Music industries. I also travel to Europe a couple times a year for personal family visits.I switched to all Nikon mirrorless over the last year and love the smaller size and portability. Before switching, I was shooting D800/D750 with the top level series of zooms and primes. So on my journeys, I packed a large and heavy Pelican bag. This bag holds my necessary gear including the wide and long zooms as well as my 105 f/2.8 macro that works great for portraits. While walking through Paris and Germany, I loved the security of the rear entry for my gear. And the pouch for my new travel tripod was just the right size. The weather was drizzly and the pack remained dry and inconspicuous. Well done Tenba!
I bought this bag for use in landscape photography. It is compact, well made, yet easily carries a Canon R5 with attached 70-200, plus 2-3 other lenses. It accommodates a 19” laptop, though I doubt I will need this. I wanted something simple and comfortable for hiking fairly long distances. I did not want a huge, heavy bag. The Tenba Fulton v2 16L is half the price of other high quality bags such as the Peak Design.
My very first good camera bag was a Tenba back in 2008. That bag was handed-down to a new photographer last year. Over the years I have bought, used and still own many of the well know camera bags. But I haven't been as happy with a new bag in a long time like I am with this Fulton 16L.I can carry my A7iv, FX3 and some accesories in the main compartment easily and still have a lot of space on the rolltop. The bag low profile and materials are also a plus. The black camo is very subtle and looks very good.Quality is very good and in line with more expensive bags. The only thing I didn't like and had to modify was the velcro on the rolltop. I replaced them with sew in clothes magnets.
I originally bought a Fulton v2 14L for my OM-1 outfit, but I had two lenses longer than 5.1 so they had to lie down, using up a lot of space. These are thin backpacks; plan accordingly. The 16L holds my OM-1 plus 5 lenses, one attached to the body, two lying down, two standing up, and still has room for two tele-converters and some filters. The attached picture shows the camera compartment of the 16L on the left and the 14L on the right--the 16L comes with 2 long dividers and 9 short dividers, while the 14L has 2 long dividers but only 3 short dividers. IMO Tenba should add another 3 short dividers to the 14L as the 3 it comes with aren't enough. The second attached picture shows a Rubbermaid 5C (5 cup) container which I found fits snugly into the top rolltop ... MoreI originally bought a Fulton v2 14L for my OM-1 outfit, but I had two lenses longer than 5.1 so they had to lie down, using up a lot of space. Two of them stacked on top of each other provide nice watertight storage for my flash equipment, batteries, charger etc. while still leaving plenty of room in the rolltop section for lunch, light rain gear and the like. I was impressed that I could squeeze my entire photography outfit into the 16L. I also kept the 14L so I could take a subset of my gear to save weight on day hikes. As a 2m tall guy I found the waist belt on the 16L to be more of a stomach belt and not that useful, so I removed it. Other than that the bags fit fine, the zippers are smooth and sturdy, and the overall construction seems to be high quality.
Ive owned 14 in tan/olive and now the 16 in black camo. Both are great bags, the tan/olive is a great look, and the black camo looks better in real life vs the pictures - the camp effect is subtle and so doesn't come across fully in pictures. The camo also comes with a main zipper and materials that appear to be more waterproof. My only gripe with these bags is the lack of side access - but overall great.Ive attached 14 vs 16 pictures - the 16 will hold an a7rV with attached 70-200 (without lens hood). The 14 will not, and in addition was a bit tight with the Tamron 35-150 that I usually have on by default.
