There is nowhere to plug in a third unit (3 pack unit, available from Seller, under another Item Number) between the 5th and 8th floor. Unlike eBay, it was a--- free return.

Pros: Decent speed and coverage, reaches the garden office with careful placement of nodes. Cons: Doesn't interact well with the MW3 units, i hoped these would link together as stated, but connection drops and reduced overall coverage to less than the MW12's alone

Pros: It's cheap, works straight out of the box and is easy to set up Cons: It doesn't include smart hub unlike say the Nest hub
Great mesh system, top speed throughout the house. Only thing is, my wireless printer won't connect which is annoying.

I bought the Tenda MW12 Mesh WiFi 3 pack several weeks ago. I had issues to connect with my optical network terminal (ONT) so had to connect through my existing router. I stumbled onto my ONT packaging today and could then set the primary Tenda LAN IP address to be within the ONT IP range. The Tenda can set ranges 10.x.x.x ; 172.x.x.x ; 192.x.x.x So can now sell my old router. Now I have top speed of my fibre all over my home, garage and garden. The MW12 Wifi is really solid. I would recommend the purchase if you have lots of IOT devices and want great coverage everywhere. If you have an average size home try a 2 pack. The Android Tenda app is also very useful.
Product was as advertised, and very easy to install. I was amazed how nicely my equipment recognized the Tends and how much better and faster everything re now.sponds
Easy setup - but wifi dropped at least 3-4 times per day. Mesh setup resulted in devices flipping between 2.4 and 5 and unable to communicate between devices because of different network channels. Waste of my money. Replaced it with another router for $100 less and much more reliability.
I had areas in my house where the wifi came and went and areas where I had no signal. with Tenda MW12 problem solved.
