If you've ever used a QNAP or similar device, you'll find the UI pretty recognisable instantly. It's fairly simple to navigate, and it's pretty clear where everything is. The UI can be a little slow at times, but nothing major.Noise-wise it's pretty good - drive noises are fairly muted by the chassis, but it is audible if it's doing stuff. Best to shove it in a corner or cabinet somewhere out of the way.Actual performance is pretty good - I've got it filled with WD Red drives and I've never encountered any slowdowns with sustained reads or writes.
