It's a shame - this product would easily be 5 stars if you could only adjust the front strap. Really poor design flaw. I guess I have "thin" feet up front because there's about half an inch of space between my skin and the front strap (and I'm a 6', 240lb weightlifter for context). I saw another review say that the pre-adjusted strap is too tight. I understand that the single ankle strap is appealing for easy on-and-off but this is definitely at the expense of poor fit for many foot types. I travel to Maine a lot and wouldn't be able to wear these in the rocky water nor on light, rocky trails. With all of the extra space flopping around up front I would likely catch the front material on a rock and trip, and that's what I bought these for, unfortunately. I love these sandals! They are great for wide feet like mine and I couldn't believe the cushion from the foam. It's like walking on pillows, except less awkward. I ordered a size up, even though the recommendation is to order a size down if you're between sizes, and i'm glad I did because the extra space actually guards my toes from accidentally scraping the ground or sharp brush i'm walking by. I definitely plan on ordering my next set of shoes from Teva. These sandals are perfect for both walking around town AND some light hiking on trails.

I've tried to find a sandal or flip flop that was comfortable for me to wear for some time to let my feet "breathe". Had a pair of Merrells, but they rubbed the knuckles of my arthritic crooked toes. Found these Tevas this year and I love them, very comfortable. Please don't change them.
Due to chemo treatment I had sensitive foot and fallen toe nails. It was very hard to wear shoues. Hurricane drift allowed me to walk again while I recovered from my symptoms. Really happy to find this product. I can wear them with socks and travel safely.
I have lots of foot issues bunions etc and these shoes accommodate all of the problems and give me a nice comfortable fit. They wear very well I've had several pairs for several years.
I ordered the same product it two different colors and the SAME SIZE. The product was marked the same size in the rubber sole. But the blue pair was 1/2" smaller than the black pair.
the first pair I bought was more than ten years ago, and I loved them! this is the replacement pair. While it doesn't have fabric on the shoes, it is from the same mold...comfortable, easy to hop into and wear all day.
Excellent sandals. Waterproof and can be washed without worry. All in one superb. Sizes are quite large a 10 UK is a 9 UK.
A waterproof and comfortable sandal is actually a difficult task to find among this year's fashions, and with the competition - when you do finally find that, it does not come cheaply, nor does it seem to be designed for a snug secure fit. For those practical purposes which seem impossible to find all in one long term use sandal, look no further than the Teva hurricane drift here. Not only do I find this to be a snug, secure, comfortable, practical, waterproof, long lasting sandal, but reasonably affordable, too.
