Teva Hurricane Drift Sandals Turquoise Green Women - 38

My favorite shoes! I used them all the time!I normally have to wear orthopedic insoles but with this model and xlt I can walk for hours without pain. I love this model cause is perfect for tropical weather (unexpected rain) cause it dries in seconds. Also love taking them for trips. You can go from walking to the beach to any activity really.Is true to size.This is my third pair, couldnt be happier!I must add im very grateful and surprised for the fast delivery!

A bit disappointing

Make sure that you read the description, as these are injection molded, meaning everything including the straps are made of rubber - the buckles on them are just decoration. As this is my own fault, I am not taking stars away. What I am taking stars away from is the fact that the strap that goes over the toe area is not adjustable and is really wide. I can easily fit my whole hand in between the strap and my foot. This feels like a tripping hazard. As I am planning on exchanging this, I have not worn this out, but because of the material, I can only imagine the squeaking that would occur when you are walking around while it's wet. Disappointed

I wanted these sandals for the water and although they are the right size, they don't fit properly. The band around the top of my foot is too big/loose. It doesn't hold my foot in place and it cannot be adjusted. I wore them at the lake and when my feet get wet my foot slides and I don't feel comfortable and safe walking when they are wet. They're a great color and super cute but I can't get them wet which was the reason I bought tthem. I would like to return them or exchange them but I'm not sure how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Love the sandal, but improvements could be made

I got the sandals mainly for river float trips as we are constantly in and out of the water and loved that these were said to dry really quick. The shoe itself is very comfortable. I wish the straps were more like the original teva design. I had an incident where my foot just completely slipped out of the sandal from the front when stepping out of a tube. The grip from these also isn't the best. Was constantly slipping on the river rocks. Maybe this is my own fault and I should've bought a different pair for this type of use.

My Tevas have really saved me!

I was actually looking for a post surgical shoe, something that could be good-looking and funtional, unlike the one they offer you at the hospital, which have no arch support and a square foot bed at the top, which are amost impossible to even walk in. I found my Tevas! They have a fabulous arch and foot bed, and minimal straps that won't rub on the spots that I had operated on, plus. they have the ability to be adjusted with three velcro straps which allow for swelling and/or gauze wraps on my foot. My go-to sandal for the summer

I love my tevas! I have the hurricane drift sandals in white, I feel like they're versatile enough to wear with a sundress and/or jeans but they still have the functionality of a hiking sandal. I've had mine for a couple of years and like to wear it casually or to the beach/pool. Also it doesn't get rocks in your shoe when you walk on gravel. Only complaint I have is that you can see scuffs on the white color but I think the darker colors are probably fine. I'd say it's worthwhile!

Save your money- causes blister

Originally I got size 8 (I normally wear 8.5 or 9 in shoes). They were too big/loose so I exchanged them for 7s. Those fit perfectly with length and width. They look super cute but you CANNOT walk in them. I took them to Spain/Portugal where I knew I'd be walking a lot. First day they immediately hurt after 30 mins of walking. The problem is the top strap. It would rub against the side of my foot below my big toe and started a blister. Unfortunately couldn't wear them. Not worth the money for them to be so painful.

Soooo uncomfortable, huge disappointment

I love Tevas, but these completely miss the mark. Yes, they are completely plastic and there isn't as much space for customizing the sizing. However, this was not necessarily my problem. I don't mind a plastic shoe for the pool, beach days, and casual errands. The fit also fits fine on me. My issue is they are so uncomfortable! I have walked 10 minutes in them and gotten blisters on the sides of my feet. A few weeks later, I tried again and the same issue happened. I can't tell what the problem is, maybe it's the plastic material or shape, but they irritate my feet so much I can't wear them. The only way I can wear them is with socks and they look awfully goofy. I don't plan to wear them again. I highly do not recommend. Spend more, and get a better Teva sandal. Such a great sandals-the straps are built in, so no buckles

I wear mine everyday when the weather is warm enough. A while back I bought a tomato red pair and a dark olive pair. Both are fab, but from overuse, I imagine, the velcro lost its stickiness on the olive pair. I would buy them again, but I never see the darker colors (besides black) when I am on the site. I love my new white ones, though, just looking for an alternative. It is so amazing that a pair of sandals could be one-piece!

These are the most uncomfortable shoes if ever owned

I love Teva sandals but these are the worst shoes ive ever worn.. soooo uncomfortable. Hard plastic cutting into your feet, no cushion on the sole.. & the sizing, i ordered by the size guide & measurements but had over 1½ inch empty sandal along with the stiff as a board straps hovering well above my feet.. they didnt even come close to touching the top of my foot. And to give Teva the benefit of doubt, i tried the sandals on & walked into ankle deep water at the lake.. 1 sandal came off as i twisted my ankle trying to walk on the wet, slick as glass hard plastic footbed.Do yourself a favor & find a store that carries these & try them on before you buy... dont purchase online
