I had a hard time finding sandals I like. Some cut into the foot or ankle, some are too short, some are too ugly or lack support. These are comfortable and are really beautiful to look at. I got the black olive color. (I also ordered the other color but didn't care for it.) These have fairly good arch support. I ordered about 12 sandals from various manufacturers (Teva, Ecco, Keen, Columbia, Camel) while these sat in my living room. I kept looking since some sandals have more arch support (and the arches are a little forward on these), the footbed on these made my foot sweat very slightly, soles on some sandals are tougher, and some sandals are completely waterproof (these are quick-drying and water resistant but not waterproof; I will spray some Scotchgard Suede & ... MoreI had a hard time finding sandals I like. There are some beautiful and well-made sandals out there. But I loved these sandals every time I saw them. The closest I came to another sandal was the Teva Strata Universal, which has a Vibram sole (incredible!) and is waterproof. But the straps cut into my ankle, and, while not bad looking, were not incredible in that area. These are comfortable, feel light, fit my foot, I can run and walk easily in them, and I feel good wearing them. The strap ends are a pleasure to grab when putting them on and off. Did I mention how great they look? I mean really good, including the sophisticated black olive color. (Even the Teva tag looks nice on these. A comment made by a good friend too.) They also seem well made. Try them!

My husband bought these about 1 month ago. He LOVES them, says they run true to size and the arch feels amazing. Super comfortable ! The brown color is perfect and the design is stylish. They are a very high end sandal at a great price !He has been wearing them daily.

I use the Katavi II as a casual dress sandal with either long slacks or mostly shorts. As the uppers get the aged look, they go to my active everyday use and after that to working in the yard. Right now I'm using a miss matched pair in the yard until they fall apart. I wear them year around. The soles last longer than the uppers. So if improvement needs to be made, it's on the uppers. Occasionally I get a sole separation so I just glue it back together for the last stage of use. Great sandals though. Will keep buying. Maybe they can add a couple more colors on the uppers.

I own numerous pairs of Teva wedges that I wear everyday during the warm months. So I decided to buy my husband a pair of is own Teva's to see if he likes them as well. He does, finds them very comfortable. We like to go for walks a lot so I figured instead of shoes and socks try a pair of these sandals. After the first try on he doesn't want to take them off. He also loves the olive color too, they look very nice. These sandals are sturdy enough to go hiking too.
This item is darker than it appears in the image. Also, when I slid one on my foot, I could feel a friction point on my upper foot near the right side opening of the sandal upper. I could tell this would likely cause blisters if I walked on it for any period of time. I'm returning this item. I bought a size 10. I wear size 10.5 normally. I used the fit tool provided on this site and it recommended a size 10. I think they need half sizes. I think a half size larger may have worked. I suggest buying only if your true size is a whole size as these sandals only come in whole sizes.
I loved these sandals, comfy and fit well, good arch support, I wore them a few weeks fall of 2020 and then they sat in the closet all winter. Now sandal season is upon us and back to wearing them........but they only lasted 3 months! See photo of leather strap loop just rupturing for no reason while walking around the house. Of course they are not still in warranty, just tossing your money down the drain here! Going back to Chacos! :(
not as comfy as original Not as soft on the skin nor is the suede as soft. Also, it is missing a loop on the heel to make it easier to remove without pulling the velcro straps. I am still wearing my original pair. Only bought these when sole started to come off. Used glue but not holding long. This is after almost 20 years. Great product but updates have made it less comfortable.
This is my second pair of Tevas. (I lost the first and only after waiting too long replaced them.) They're fully adjustable. (N.b., my size is 9 1/2 and this item comes only in full sizes. The Teva folks wisely advised me to order 9s. But after looking at *some* of my shoes I stoopidly ordered 10s. When they arrived I tried them and of course Teva's advice had been right. I sent the 10s back the next day and Teva *promptly* and courteously sent 9s.) sandals are rugged, comfortable, practical, and attractive.
I like to hike in sandals, in the high desert of NM. I used to have an old pair of Teva's but needed to replace them. These work great! But I had to buy men's, none of the women's fit right.
Nice heavy-duty sandal that really stays on your foot. Really cups your foot and grips your foot. Nice traction and heavy-duty sole. Runs a little long for size.
