Color is not what is shown :(

I fell in love with these boots when I saw them online! This is my second pair of hiking boots in the last few years so it was a special purchase. When they arrived, I noticed the color was significantly lighter and the material looked different, not as suede-y. If I hadn't already purchased, I would definitely choose a different pair as the "sand dune" color shown online was so much prettier to me/more my style. Otherwise, the boots feel nice.

I've been wearing these for a few weeks now and they've done a great job in the cold and in wet conditions. It's my first pair of tevas, and the angled sole at the heel took a minute to get used to. But now I'm annoyed that my other shoes don't have that. They're also pretty light.

Fragile upper, good fit otherwise

Wore these boots foraging in the woods and a stick punctured the upper layer of the toe box.Very disappointed in the fragile uppers, be careful where you use these.Otherwise the boots were great, I found the wide toe box very comfortable and they were keeping my feet dry before the puncture. For hiking on trails these are probably fine, but should not be used for other situations where tear resistance is needed.

Great all terrain hiking shoes
22 May 2023

These are great hiking shoes. Walked through cactus and rocky terrain mostly in these, snow, and still waterproof to almost the ankle. Only complaint is that they take a while to break in, I've had these for 4-5 months now and they are still tight. I wear a size 13 Wide normally and these guys are still very snug. I like the laces on these Teva's too, pricey but I'll definitely get another season or better outta these shoes.

Less than I'd hoped for
28 March 2024

Have worn Tevas for decades, but this was my first actual shoe purchase. Fit is pretty good, but I am limited to thinner socks for my true 11.5 feet, not enough room in toe box. Support is good, Vibram traction excellent. My main gripe with the Gore-Tex shoes, though, is that the upper gets saturated with water in even mild rain or dew conditions. I work and play outside, and am constantly around water. The water does not get through to the inner-boot, but it creates a cold spot on the foot. I have not tried a breathable weather-proofing on these yet, but it should have been done by Teva. Will check in later with durability report. So far, these are not becoming a go-to for daily footwear, so I am less than impressed.

Super comfortable and capable! (if not so durable)
19 April 2024

I've worn these shoes for the bulk of my hiking for the past year, including lots of training hikes, a thru-hike of the Enchantments, the Wonderland Trail at Rainier, and the Annapurna Base Camp trek in Nepal (it was an epic year). The tevas were absolutely perfect for everything, and kept my feet comfy and dry even through lots of rain at Rainier.1 star off, unfortunately, because the inner heals on both shoes have disintegrated and they're now giving me blisters. I put them to work this year, to be sure, but a single year is still a disappointing lifespan.

This hiker is junk

I had my pair of Grandview GTX for just shy of one year and the tread lugs separated from the sole. Yes! They are two different materials and not one solid piece of poly or rubber. The stitching on the side has also blown out. I contacted Teva and sent the boots in but they rejected my claim because their manufacturing dates was older than my purchase date; less than one year. You need to do better, Teva, on standing behind your products, manufacturing defects and customer service.

Very disappointing
29 June 2024

I purchased these Teva Men's Grandview Gore-Tex Boots recently for outdoor adventures (bushwalks, hiking and camping). I wore them on two occasions to attempt to “break them in” before doing a 3 day hike (approx 35km). They were basically brand new at the start of the hike. They were very uncomfortable, however I put that down to being new. After completing the hike the Vibram mega-grip sole was separating from the foam cushioning on the heal and in several places along the grip sections (more on one foot than the other, but visible on both boots). I doubt they would last another hike. The GoreTex did keep my feet dry, however the inner gtx lining is stitched together with a seam running vertically down the centre of the heal line. I doubt they would last another hike. The GoreTex did keep my feet dry, however the inner gtx lining is stitched together with a seam running vertically down the centre of the heal line. The stitching here is raised and contributed to excess rubbing and pressure point on both heels. The way the boots lace was also quite uncomfortable at the top-front of the boots where the tongue exits. I could feel the rounded laces pressing into the top of my feet after a half hour of walking. Overall, I am very disappointed with these boots. I bought them on sale as a last pair in my size (US13), on sale for a significant discount ($179.00 AUD) over the RRP, however I still feel as though this was a complete waste of money. The quality is extremely poor, they were very uncomfortable from day 1, and lasted less than a week before the rubber soles/grip started to fall apart. The “mega-grip” was more like mega-slip. They offered very limited grip on dry or wet rocky trails. I slipped just standing in them on slightly angled rock. After further research, I found other reviews of the same issues.I’ve had cheap trainers last for years. These are an absolute poor quality waste of time and money. I will never buy a pair of Teva ever again (or anything with “Vibram” branding). Really feeling a sting from this purchase. Such a shame.

Won't buy again

I bought this product because since Teva bought out ahnu I figured the quality of the ahnu boot would be present in the Teva boots sadly it is not.Ahnu was so incredibly comfortable Teva is not in a boot I am so disappointed I have to find another company that provides a wonderful boot the way that Ahnu did.I'm still giving three stars because they're very lightweight and I'm hoping that eventually they'll break in and get comfortable. But the Ahnu boot had zero breaking. So I was expecting the same since Teva bought out Ahnu. Ahnu NEVER hurt my feet.I'm already getting some pain with the Teva boot. Again due to the light weight I'm gonna hope that in a month or in a couple weeks it will break in and be at least somewhat maybe almost as comfortable as there ... MoreI bought this product because since Teva bought out ahnu I figured the quality of the ahnu boot would be present in the Teva boots sadly it is not.Ahnu was so incredibly comfortable Teva is not in a boot I am so disappointed I have to find another company that provides a wonderful boot the way that Ahnu did.I'm still giving three stars because they're very lightweight and I'm hoping that eventually they'll break in and get comfortable. But the Ahnu boot had zero breaking.
