I'm 37 now and have never had a bad pair. I hear lots of folks commenting how their new pair isn't made the same as a pair they got in like 1996... Of course they aren't. Materials change, manufacturing grows.. we learn certain ways produce a lot of pollution and adjust. They are a bit different but the only thing I notice is they are lighter and just as strong, fine by me.I wear a size 12 and buying slide and sandals is tough.. I've just given up on slides entirely. But for sandals, LUNA and Teva male some fantastic shoes. The biggest thing for me is being dependable when I'm out hiking and stuff. The Tevas webbing runs under the soles so they literally cannot break, it's not possible. That to me seems like the best bet out in the middle of nowhere. Cheaper brands rubber-weld or sew the straps on and the first time you really run them hard ajd do wet/dry they fall apart. Not Teva, these excel in abuse and climates changing quickly. They also don't carry mud like lots of shoes and boots do, so you stay light.They are a great buy. And my long slender feet do great in a size 12.

I have purchased several Teva Sandals over the years because of their comfort and durability. These sandals have a thinner sole with enough arch support for every day use. They are great for pool parties and dry quicker than other styles. These are also good for the beach as they don't collect sand like thicker sole styles do. I also love the blue color.

I have always thought that this was a great invention in the world of footwear. Had them since 1992.The previous Teva sandals I had, Torin M's, had arch support and contour and worked well for me to do a bit of walking in. That model was no longer available so I purchased Original Universals. The sole of this model is completely flat, which sometimes results in catching the front on something and tripping. Also, right and left are not mirror image fit with the straps so I am further forward with my right foot. Overall I am disappointed with these new Tevas.

I have used Teva terra sandals for walking in summer for years because they are very hardy and super comfortable and adjustable. I saw these and thought they are not so heavy and would look good with dresses and jeans rather than the chunky Tevas which I have, and am very pleased with them. Just as comfortable and adjustable and fun looking. So good in fact I have bought a similar pair in another colour. So pleased M&S selling them.
I bought these to replace my 20 year old pair that finally let go in the sole. I know-20 years is amazing for seasonal footwear! These new Tevas feel familiar and pretty comfortable. They are super adjustable and easy to put on. However, I would love to change out the foot pad from a raised surface to the smooth surface that I'm used to.
I bought these today and love them! I was looking for a pair of outdoor sandals with an open toe keeping much of the foot exposed but would work in the great outdoors. I've had some outdoor sandals that keep most of the foot closed including the toes but not backs. Seeing that many wear open toes when hiking or backpacking as long as the sandals are sturdy and broken in they should work so I thought I'd try them. Slipping them on made me love them instantly! After I made the purchase, I put them right on before leaving the store and haven't wanted to remove them since they're SO COOL and COMFY! They go with shorts, jeans, khakis, workout pants, you name it! I've had no trouble breaking them in and I can't wait to wear them on my next hike! These are the BEST!!!
I got this on recommendation from friends. I understand that they are meant to act like a cross between flip flops and hiking shoes but to me I thought they were neither rugged enough to hike or comfy enough to wear to the beach. Personally I would just rather wear hiking boots or flip flops or crocs. Just didn't suit my needs very well but I can see the appeal for people who don't need them to be as good on the trails. Admittedly I may have used them on rougher terrain than they are intended for but I was not very satisfied. Also the second my feet started to sweat I felt like I was walking on two slip and slides. My toes would hang over the shoe from the slippery soles.
Wear the sandals daily. Now that it's getting colder, easy to adjust to accommodate sock wearing. Size was what I expected, my usually purchased footwear size. Will wait til spring to buy another color (other than the basic black).Hope you take no offense: but since I'm a former Viet Nam Era Marine, I refer to them, around the house, as my Ho Chi Min sandals.Like your product.....get them made in the USA!Robert E. As someone who regularly wears their tevas throughout the humid summers of new england, my old reliable pair started to deteriorate after about a decade. I ordered a new pair. These new ones are MUCH different than my last pair. Specifically with the webbing and the sole. The sole is much stiffer, which i think over time will actually be a positive. The webbing, though. The webbing is much much thinner than before, much less burly. I'm very curious to see how these will hold up over time. The webbing might dry faster? But my foot already feels not as secure. We'll see.
