I bought these to walk around during the summer months here in Florida. The first day I wore them was to an art festival. I wore them all day and didn't initially adjust them after taking them out of the box. I did adjust later in the day around the toe area and it solved the little discomfort I was feeling. I wear them all the time, the support is fantastic. Surprisingly enough they didn't burn the bottom of my feet either. I will say that it might be necessary to size up if you run between sizes. I normally wear 8.5 and ordered an 8, they fit but only just.

This is the first time buying the original universal sandals i have 2 pairs of the hurricane drift sandals from Teva i love them so much I’ve decided to get the 90s multi color and also got the light multicolor. I ordered them a size 7 I’m a size 8 there way off on the size cause this fit abit small. But the problem is that i wide foot my feet are wide and this sandals are not for wide feet they hurt my toes and rubbed on my foot i have no idea how can this be for hiking I couldn’t even walk for 10min without my feet hurting so bad. I definitely do not recommend this sandals.

First of all I never write reviews so that in itself should be a good indicator. I remember these back in the 90's but never got on the bandwagon. Better later than never...these are co comfortable and quite cute. I bought the white and they look very chic actually. I walked aroundall of NYC the other day without any discomfort. I have 3 pairs of Birkenstocks which I love and was contemplating getting the white Birks to add to my collection . Then I saw the Teva's at Macy's and was sold. Great shoe for a great price. Love all of the colors. I am a true size 9 and they fit TTS. Also the adjustable straps make them comfortable to adjust to any width. Great alternative to Birkenstocks without the cost. Will definitely be getting another pair in the near future!
I love Teva's. That being said, this is one of the lower priced shoes. It is not as sturdy as the higher priced ones but is great for walking around town. It is not a "hiker" as the more expensive shoes could be. The sole of this shoe is a softer rubber but is not reinforced. Given that, it's still a nice shoe for the money. Also, it doesn't come in half sizes. I usually wear an 8 1/2 so first purchased the size 9. It was way too big. Had to reorder and get the size 8, which is a little short on one foot as I have a slightly larger right foot. It's still a passable fit. But when I have to go through "issues" I won't rate something a 5 star.
These were the first Tevas I've ever bought, and I love them so much I bought more colors! I originally got them to wear to the beach, and while that worked fine, I feel that immersing them in salt water, along with the sun exposure, made the color fade a bit, and even after I rinsed/dried them off, there was still a little bit of sand that was irritating to my skin. So, I won't be wearing them to the beach anymore (unless I get a solid white pair that won't be susceptible to fading). I'll wear them everywhere else though, because they're SO comfortable, supportive (with arch support!) and overall perfect for even the hottest temps, which can reach up to 115 deg. F in my area. I usually wear a sz. 8 (sometimes 8.5) med. in sandals, and the 8 was perfect.
This style is very cute. I wear a 9 1/2 and the 9 fit fine . The only thing is the little plastic loop close to the pinky toe dug into my skin. If I loosen the strap, then it was just too loose, so back to go to the store they go. It would probably fit better on a person who is 9 and not in between sizes.
I am a 7.5 got the 8. Purchased to walk around a Europe trip. Put them on and had to take them off in 30 minutes. The straps chafed both inside and outside of foot. The rear straps are comfortable and the sole. The front chafes the great toe area and pinky toe area. I don't see how one can where these all day. The straps are a rough material. Disappointing the reviews say can wear all day, not true.
A friend loves Teva brand. I tried on the sandles she's been wearing and they were very comfortable. This particular style is NOT up to standard. The sole is plastic and uncomfortable, the straps are scratchy and rub against my toes. I cannot wear them for an extended period. I think they were on sale for a reason. Not the standard of the brand.
