I thought that would fit, but it was a size 2 large and I gave it to a friend. Will be buying a size 8, unless Teva would make a woman's leather sandal just like this one. It had all all the padding and comfort that I need for walking. Liked them better than the woman's hurricane with the padding.

I wear these sandals for almost any and every occasion/purpose, from a quick run to the store, a walk with a friend, and even fly fishing in the river. I can wade into salt water to get into my kayak and when they dry out they look just the same as before. It took my last pair YEARS to look worn and I expect these to hold up just as well. I am a 74 year old female with long narrow feet with bunions and I wear a mens size 11. Thanks to the perfectly positioned velcro straps I can make them fit my feet perfectly.
Love the leather, the straps that I have cushion inside so they don't hurt your feet and the look of them. Wish they would make these leather tears in women's.Due to the fact, they were men's and I bought them for myself and have quite a long narrow foot because I'm 59 and I need big feet or I'd fall down, Wide and too long. I did give them to a friend of mine who's a guy and they fit him perfectly. He loved them. Have been buying Teva's since the early 90s and they last for a long time and I just love them. I never get a backache after walking in my Teva's.
I purchased this sandal expecting it to be identical to an old set of Teva's that wore out. It was not. The leather is different, with somehow less material used, different stitching, and a lot thinner. The materials on the insole and bottom tread seem fairly similar to the older version. Overall it just looks a little cheaper and not as heavy duty. Not what I was expecting from the photos. Time will tell, however, if the materials and manufacturing hold up as well as they did with my previous Teva's. Despite all this, my bottom line is that this is a solid sandal that is meant for rugged outdoor use.
My feet are torn up from these. Definitely not the same. They no longer make this in womens, so I replaced mine with men's, and they fit me fine, or so I thought, but both my big toes are rubbed raw underneath. Is this really leather??? Where the strap rubs my ankle I am all torn up also. Did a chat with Teva, sent Nikki pics, and she said the "warehouse" won't refund worn shoes. Despite what they did to my feet. I've had them one month. Just lost a lifelong customer Teva. 👌🏼
Had to return the first order as Teva size 10 was smaller than all my other size 10 footwear. That return was long and drawn out, and resulted in my waiting over a month for replacement. The replacement already has the Velcro strip detaching from the sandal. I won't order Teva again
At first, these were comfortable to step into. But when I wore them out for the first time, I soon developed a couple of pretty painful rub-spots on either side of both ankles. To be fair, these were only tiny little spots (about the size of a B-B [do people still know what B-B's are?]) - but they hurt like the Dickens, and were on a part of my foot that doesn't get much abrasion - tender flesh. Feeling the pain coming on, during that wearing, I played around with the adjustment of the main strap - but it was something about the stitching or the material - or both - that just (no pun intended) rubbed me wrong. I was too sore to wear them again until those spots had fully healed.Soooo, I wore them a second time - a few weeks later - hoping that they would start to ... Then I'll wear them one more time, out for a normal afternoon of general walking. If they still hurt/rub after that - I'll probably send them back.Maybe I'll try putting a piece of tape over those spots - - but, I shouldn't have too - - because I got these leather sandals for their sharp and classic look. A piece of tape would just look tacky! And, maybe my skin needs to toughen up - - but again - it shouldn't have to! Other Teva sandals I've purchased have been immediately comfortable under all conditions. But, we'll see. And, I'll try to update this review if things change - one way or the other.
Buyer Beware!- not the brown you think you're buying. I love the sandal; it's the perfect travel footwear to take on a (weather appropriate) trip.This purchase, however, confused me at first; seems the turkish coffee color pattern is nowhere close to what's being depicted online.I kept this sandal because I did not want to deal with the whole process; but I probably won't wear this as much as I wanted to. Bad marketing from Teva this time around.
