Thayers Astringent, Witch Hazel, Original - 60 pads

Thayers has been a house hold name for years. They carry the best witch hazel products and these astringent pads are no different. I love the fact that it had 97% natural origin ingredients and it nourishes, balances and hydrates the skin. One of my staple skincare products!

I have been meaning to leave a review for these! These are such a must-have in your medicine cabinet. I bought these at tjmaxx for a lesser price than the store and am so glad that I did because although price doesn't sway me, I will repurchase these when I run out regardless of price, they are so worth it! I use them on my face occasionally (a couple times a week). The witch hazel is amazing. Supposedly witch hazel draws out the bacteria, in which it did on multiple areas of my body - not just the face. Clean, gentle, and worth the price!

Beware of allergic reactions!

Both my sister and I had used the Thayer's toner before and we liked it. One day my sister bought this to try. She has normal to dry skin and has eczema flare ups sometimes. Within 20 minutes of applying this product her face was red all over with eczema or hives or a combination. She decided to give it to me because I have oily skin, and we thought it might not bother me. WRONG. The same thing happened to me. It was extremely painful and it took about a week to go away. My skin has never been so dry in my life. Definitely be careful with this product.

Beware, beware

I bought this online to give it a try for my son and I. We've used the thayers alcohol free pads before. They worked great. These ones however were awful. My son used them yesterday and he was fine. Today he used them and got the worst allergic reaction. Immediate redness all over his face and neck, welts along his jaw with little white bumps. Immediately we rinsed it off and now it looks like he has a chemical burn. Do not get this one!!! Get the alcohol free formula. Definitely switching back to the alcohol free formula and returning this one.

Love Thayers but...

Did not expect the pads to be so rough. If you're looking for exfoliating these are definitely it but I'd rather use a cotton ball or softer pad to rub on my face. Probably won't purchase this specific product again.

Love this product but love the savings more

I've been buying these astringent pads for about a year now they do wonders for my skin. I used to have painful acne on my back and shoulders, which with the help of my natural arsenal has been taken care of. This product being one of them! I use it if I'm out all day or got sweaty from exercise but can't shower right away and it has helped so much! I also use it on my face and it definitely helps with acne, makes me skin smooth, and keeps the oil at bay. I use it daily and never had issues with dry skin- although my skin is pretty oily. Love this product!

I am 77 years old and have bought very high end skin care lines. I got tired of spending my money and giving the product up. I picked up Thayers one day by chance. I have not finished my first jar and I started to see a difference in my skin by half way through the product. Today my husband looked at my skin and complimented it. I use a pad in themorning and evening. It exfoliates with each pad. I have dark skin and my tones can be uneven. My skin has evened out and my skins has a nice glow. I do not have lined skin butthe nasolabial lines. It is so nice to look to look at my skin. I am very happy with your product. My husband is also happy because I am not spending money on the high end skin care. I recommend this product to my older sister. I love it.

beware if you have sensitive skin

Be cautious with this product if you have sensitive skin. I use the bottled Thayers witch hazel facial toner in rose petal (alcohol free) twice a day as it was recommended by my dermatologist. I only have positive comments for the toner and using it in my skincare regimen my it has only improved my acne-prone, combination skin. I bought these pads on a whim from Target. I thought they were a smart idea to leave in my gym bag to replace my bottled toner after showering, as the toner bottle leaks in my bag when transported from home to the gym. I used this product two days ago and yesterday. My face burned immediately during and after use. This morning, my face has broken out in dry, bumpy, itchy red hives. A shame, I really wanted to love this product as I do the toner. If you have sensitive skin like me, test the pads out on a small area of skin first.
