This is the wet pallete I use. I tried painting for a year with just using a plastic pallete and always had issues with my paints drying out. Once I got the wet pallete my paints would naturally thin with water and became way more manageable, my paint skills improved.. Even better, my paints would last over night. If my kid would interupt a painting session I no longer had to waiste paint and just throw out paint. I would make sure the foam is wet and put the lid on. The next day I could resume painting with my blended colors i Used the day before. This also improved my painting because I would have the same pallette for a week or 2 while painting entire armies. Was soo amazing. This product is a life changer for a miniature painter.

Helps keep your paint usable when painting minis for a long time
I didn't understand the value of a wet pallet for a long time after I started mini painting. Now I can't live without this. Kids require me to take constant breaks from my painting, this wet palette ensures my colors are still viable, even days later, to return to my project without remixing paints.
Love the formfactor. Love the brush holder/2nd layer. Love that you get so many sheets. The foam dries out too fast for me though. Kind of hard to keep my paint at the right consistency. Might swap with the cheap foam from Michaels palette.

Every army painters absolute need. There's nothing else than fielding a bunch of troops with mismatched uniforms because you can't get constant paint mixes. Wet pallettes keep your mixes long useable and storable to carry over to the next minimum.
wet palette keeps paint from drying out. when painting miniatures you don't need a lot of paint at a time so it dries out pretty fast on a regular palette. this comes with a lid, nice addition.
