I have tried several kids are high quality fish oil capsules with no noticeable difference to skin or hair. But THIS omega is different. It is well sourced, comprehensive, and a liquid form so you will have better absorption. It is very palatable too. Beauty Chef did a great job researching and sourcing the best ingredients for an all around stellar omega supplement. My skin is glowing. Usually it is dry/combination and irritable due to retin-a, but this has calmed it down and provided hydration from within. My hair is also shiny. Give it at least a month to see a difference, but you will.

I absolutely love this product! I get so excited when it’s that time of day again to take it. The flavour is amazing considering it’s an omega oil. I love consuming it by its self off the spoon in the morning and again at night mixed in with my Glow powder and cold water (which takes Glow to a whole new level of deliciousness). I do wish the bottles where bigger, but I think it’s more hygienic and the product stays fresher having it in small bottles, as we do expose the oil to oxygen and microorganisms twice a day when unscrewing the cap. 10/10 product xx

Hair & Skin improvement
10 November 2021

I’ve been using the Omega oil for a few months now with breaks in between for cleanse & deep collagen. I do notice an improvement in my skin but more so in my hair. After turning 50 & being premenopausal, my hair health is not at its best. With Sydney recently in lockdown and no hairdresser appointments , I’m sure my omega oil kept my hair in good condition. I did finish a whole tub of deep collagen as well during that period and it wasn’t until after that month that the results really showed. I’m going to order another tub of deep collagen and use it with the omega oil as I think it may just be the super combo for hair health , which is my focus at the moment , so I’ll report back on how that goes :)

Improves skin health
13 July 2022

I have been using the omega elixir for 3yrs now.I had always purchased directly from the beauty chef website and now purchase from Mecca.I have chronic eczema and have always had dry itchy skin, I found incorporating this along with the beauty chef gut primer improved the condition of my skin.I have eczema on my external limbs and have never changed my body skincare routine. And since incorporating these beauty chef supplements into my everyday diet my eczema has not returned in its intensity ever since.I believe I saw results after 4/5bottles so realistically after a year was when I started noticing my skin improving :)

No improvement
12 January 2022

Unfortunately, this did nothing for me! I started with one teaspoon a day, then moved to two a day and saw absolutely no improvement in my skin over the two months it took me to finish. I live in Minnesota where it’s currently super cold and dry and I also use retin-A frequently, so I have extremely dry skin. Maybe it would help people who have slightly less dry skin? The taste isn’t horrible, but it does take getting used to. Overall a big no for me!

Scent and Taste of Summer

I always watch Carlas presentations on TVSN as I have been a loyal customer and strong fan of all her products which I have been using since she 1st started with GLOW. I have a shelf in the fridge dedicated to only Carlas products. This latest product intrigued me and having absolute trust in Carla I thought I'd give it a try. My review is as follows:On opening the bottle and removing the seal I was struck by the beautiful scent which instantly transported me back to my childhood, the scent was so familiar. The colour is beautiful and the texture was a lot lighter on the tongue than I expected. Yes it is an oil but to me it's light and easy to take straight off the spoon. The taste is to me is a light floral with a citrus note.I have now been taking this Elixer ... MoreI always watch Carlas presentations on TVSN as I have been a loyal customer and strong fan of all her products which I have been using since she 1st started with GLOW. The only thing I have been doing differently is adding the Elixer into my morning and evening routine. In the morning I either take it straight or add it to my glass of water with Glow/Collagen and Antioxidant or I put it into my breakfast smoothie. In the evening I again have a glass of water with Glow/Collagen and Antioxidant plus the teaspoon of Elixer. Only downside to me is the price as 1 bottle only lasts a fortnight, so it's expensive. I'm hoping Carla can do some good multi pack deals in the future on TVSN.

Slowly get results
26 November 2020

I'm up to maybe my 4th + bottle. It takes a while to achieve the results, maybe by the end of the bottle, so I wasn't sure if it worked or not. Some time between bottles and now I've experimented enough and confident that it works and wont put off buying more when a bottle runs out. Skin is just juicier. I did my sums on how long it would last based on the size and what's in a tea spoon. The sums show it doesn't last long. But I must have very small teaspoons because it lasts me way longer :-) Ends up being very good value compared to good quality fish oils. The taste is ok and easy to take by the spoon, def better than other oils or straight fish oil. The little bit of lemon flavour in this also works to add to my salad dressing for work.

Staple for my Chronically dry skin
28 June 2021

I took the quiz from the Beauty Chef website, and they recommended this. Been trying it for a little over a month now and I’m absolutely in love. I’ve always had issues with super dry lips since my teens, it was a side effect from the acne medication I was taking but it never went away, it only got worse as I got older and moved to a colder climate. Finally here in my 30’s, and just in few weeks my dry lips are no longer an issue. My skins feels much more moisturized and hydrated everywhere. The taste is not bad, it doesn’t give me fish oil burps cause it’s vegan, it’s actually something I look forward to taking every day. And that’s actually a lot to say for something that’s technically a wellness product. Will absolutely repurchase.

The best vegan omega supplement.
23 September 2022

I love the BC Omega Elixir. I've been using it for at least 12 months and my skin which tends to be easily aggravated is now more noticeably hydrated, and healthy. I usually mix it into my oats in the morning but if I have something different I just take it straight up. It's tasty, and no fishy burps!
