First, I’m an aftershave splash guy. I don’t like balms or gels. That being said, I tried this aftershave and it actually performs rather well. My only wish is they included some menthol (or other cooling agent) to give it a nice cooling effect. Aside from my dislike of gels, I would recommend this to people who do enjoy gels or balms.

I visited my local store to purchase Maca Root Razor Relief only to find out it has been discontinued. Maybe this is the reason the last time I tried to order on line it was out of stock. This new replacement has a fragrance that is to me, not what I would ever live with, and it is some kind of gel and not the great lotion and great fragrance of the old. If anyone at The Body Shop is listening: BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL, this new stuff sucks! I was buying the original since about 2009, what a disappointment.

My husband loves this product. He has been using it for over a month now and has seen drastic changes. He shaves 2 to 3 times a week and applies this product afterwards, every time. Previously, he would have extremely bad breakouts after shaving from irritation. His facial hair is really coarse and makes it hard to shave and not have some irritation. BUT this post-shave water-gel has been amazing for him. He said he highly recommends it!
My boyfriend whenever he shaves he gets razor bumps and his skin is really irritated. Nothing ever worked we tried moisturizer, other gels, but nothing worked. I’m so glad I bought this for him because it’s the only thing that has worked for his skin after he shaves!! 10/10 would recommend!!
I use this on my legs, and it has removed practically all the red bumps I've been experiencing using just a normal lotion post-shaving. It has a nice smell and doesn't leave my legs feeling sticky, and they don't get irritated or itchy afterwards.
Love this after shave balm. It’s cooling and very soothing. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great after shave coolant.
